Did any President ever engage in such crass partisanship while in the WH?

NOPE.

Who paid for the email? The DemocRATS? Never have seen this before but unfortunately we are seeing a lot of firsts out of ZERO and all bad so far. Cannot stand the man and any Dem who votes according to his email needs a reality check. GOP better turn out in huge numbers.

Haven’t Presidents frequently participated in Congressional elections, and even shown up at rallies and fundraisers?

Subject: Please vote tomorrow

To:

Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the day to vote in New York's 20th Congressional District special election, and I need you to go vote.

I wrote to you last week to announce my endorsement of Scott Murphy because we need his kind of leadership and experience in Washington. It's going to be a very close race, and your vote could make all the difference.

Our movement for change has come this far because supporters like you stood up and made your voices heard every time it mattered.

Please look up your polling location and stand up once again for the change we need to bring to Washington.

With Scott in Congress, we'll work together to bring about solutions to our economic challenges and create new jobs in Upstate New York and across the country.

Having created over 1,000 jobs by starting successful businesses in clean energy and high-tech industries, Scott understands the potential we have to rebuild our economy and create a new foundation for prosperity.

That's the kind of partner I need in Washington. Please look up your polling place and vote tomorrow:

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

NY Dems are mailing junk mail to voters in the NY-20 which links the GOP candidate, Tedisco, to Rush, Bush, and Palin. The junk mail claims Tedisco will vote in lock step with the Bush/Rush/Palin agenda. Tommorrow night, we’ll know how many idiots live in Upstate NY.

I live in upstate NY and I’m surrounded by idiots. As soon as I can I’m moving out of here. I’m voting for Tedisco.

Of course Presidents have. It’s their job as party leader to do just that. For a President to sit on political capital and not use it to help his party is a serious mistake. When Dubya had a massive approval rating post 9/11 he didn’t use it to put in an appearance in the VA Gubernatorial contest when he was needed. Partly because of that, we ended up losing the office, and the winners were two guys known as Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.

This together with the other extreme partisanship makes me think of this behavior as crass.

The constant strawmen set up against Repubs, the "I won" comments, the condescension in NEVER negotiate with Repubs over legislation, instead offering cocktails, etc.

It will be no surprise that this type of internet partisanship will ramp up under Oshama the likes of which we have not seen before. It will be ALL about politics and elections, rather than the Statesmanlike gravitas that most Presidents at least SEEM to want to exhibit.

NEW YORKERS TO VOTE TUESDAY.

Makes it easy for them, just follow the instructions of ACORN in chief and vote the opposite.

I look at it as a positive if a House member votes in favor of the “Palin Agenda”.

What this vote really is a referendum on Rush, they made a hige deal out of him in this campaign..both sides did.

Palin really scares the Dems to lump her in with the rest. Sure hope they are smarter then they were in Nov 2008!

I hope they have some good GOP poll watchers there... With all the vote fraud during the Presidential campaign I wouldn’t put it past the DNC and supporters to use the same plan for this smaller election... We might get lucky and bust even more ACORN nuts!

I don't blame you.

When you move out, I am sure you will enjoy lower taxes if you make it down south or in the heartland.

Ok...

How does Rush handle this with humor and get under the Obaminator's skin at the same time.

If he does it right, and it helps the R guy to win, it will be shadenfruede city...

Got to tune in today....

More than anyone here thinks. The polls were moving in the wrong direction and Obama still has 60% approval so expect him to bring this one home for the Rats.

In my neck of the woods I only see Tedisco signs.
The problem is the cities, not the little towns.

I pray UpNY votes with their brains and the votes are honest.

Well lets see everytime Bush said anything about 911 the Democrats Howled Partisanship. So Bush being a Gentlemen decided against using 911 to the GOP political advantage.

So everytime Obama says something about the Economy the GOP should also howl partisanship... Nothing changes... even though some believe we should grant quarter when none was granted.

What are talking about. They always campaign for members of their own party in congressional elections.
