During an emotional moment at the Dallas Women's Museum, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison praised Hillary Rodham Clinton for "keeping a confident face" during the 2008 presidential campaign when "you were getting so many disappointments."
"You were completely devastated and you never let it show on your face," Hutchison said during the forum. "That character is why you are secretary of state today."

You just NAILED IT!!!!!! This is a ploy to attract Independents, and Democrats to vote for her when she runs for Gov, I believe she knows it will be a hard fight to get elected with Repub support only, so she must court the left. Look for much more “centering” from NOWAYKAY in the future. Remember NOWAYKAY...
Yep, see #61....
I hope this burries her.
Given how the RINOs are running away from GWBush, I bet if she does seek out his endorsement it is because she is at least 10 points down.
Hutchinson must be seeking the mythical pumas.
NOWAYKAY — great bumper strip!
Age is catching up to her. Time for some young blood to take the reigns.
I am stunned that KBH voted for the Hitler Youth........ that ONE issue will do it for me... NO WAY KAY
No kidding. I cannot believe she voted for that either. I gave her #3LL during the immigration debate. She was getting - weekly at least - emails or letters from me. I did get a response when I sent about 18 or 20 of the Jorge Pesos to her DC office.
Do we really need another politician who is so stupid they can't see that even some of the idiots who voted for "The One" are realizing they screwed up big time?
Very disappointing nowadays with KBH. There was a thread last night that she’d posted a snarky item on her website about Gov Palin who endorsed Perry. Seems KBH is following the Tina Fey routine to downgrade Gov Palin.
Just another reason women should not be in leadership positions.
The Washingtonians all hang together.
Well, there are way too many people from Kalifornia and those yankees from the E coast moving here for one thing. Many of those voted for Ø and of course all the old hippies in Austin and the DFW area.
She is liberal in many ways - abortion comes to mind really quickly for me. She is way too ready to “reach across the aisle” like McPain has done the past few years.
I don’t think one can ever count out Perry, but when the “rumors” of his alternative lifestyle come out hot and heavy, KBH may waltz into the Governor’s mansion...
Admittedly, I’m not an Austin insider, but I’ve never heard rumors about an alternative lifestyle - care to clue me in?
Great. KBH is yet another Texas RINO.
Remember last election? We had RINO Rick, Goofy Grandma, and an old hippie named Kinky.
The choices are just so underwhelming.
To be honest any southerner would know that if two people who are not good friends are at an event they say nice things about each other. Kay would be a better governor than Rick “good hair no honesty” Perry. He is one of the people that you know in your heart is making deals that “just ain’t right.” His TransTexas highway was filling some insiders pockets before the news about the highway was printed in the morning papers.

Time to retire, Ms. Hutchison, your memory is gone. Hillary cried like a baby during the campaign!
