Here it is, folks, and it is bad news. The framework for legislation is always laid, and the Democrats have the votes to pass anything they want to impose upon us. They really do not believe you need anything more than a brick to defend your home and family. Look at the list and see how many you own. Remember, it is registration, then confiscation. It has happened in the UK, in Australia, in Europe, in China, and what they have found is that for some reason the criminals do not turn in their weapons, but will know that you did.
Remember, the first step in establishing a dictatorship is to disarm the citizens.
Gun-ban list proposed. Slipping below the radar (or under the short-term memory cap), the Democrats have already leaked a gun-ban list, even under the Bush administration when they knew full well it had no chance of passage (HR 1022, 110th Congress). It serves as a framework for the new list the Bradys plan to introduce shortly. I have an outline of the Bradys current plans and targets of opportunity. Its horrific. Theyre going after the courts, regulatory agencies, firearms dealers and statutes in an all out effort to restrict we the people. Theyve made little mention of criminals. Now more than ever, attention to the entire Bill of Rights is critical. Gun bans will impact our freedoms under search and seizure, due process, confiscated property, states rights, free speech, right to assemble and more, in addition to the Second Amendment. The Democrats current gun-ban-list proposal (final list will be worse):

Attorney General gets carte blanche to ban guns at will: Under the proposal, the U.S. Attorney General can add any semiautomatic rifle or shotgun originally designed for military or law enforcement use, or a firearm based on the design of such a firearm, that is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, as determined by the Attorney General.
Note that Obamas pick for this office, Eric Holder, wrote a brief in the Heller case supporting the position that you have no right to have a working firearm in your own home. In making this determination, the bill says, there shall be a rebuttable presumption that a firearm procured for use by the United States military or any law enforcement agency is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, and a shall not be determined to be particularly suitable for sporting purposes solely because the firearm is suitable for use in a sporting event. In plain English this means that ANY firearm ever obtained by federal officers or the military is not suitable for the public.
The last part is particularly clever, stating that a firearm doesnt have a sporting purpose just because it can be used for sporting purpose is that devious or what? And of course, sporting purpose is a rights infringement with no constitutional or historical support whatsoever, invented by domestic enemies of the right to keep and bear arms to further their cause of disarming the innocent.
WTF, I’ve only got 4 on the list.
Time to go shopping.

If he was wearing a hat I sold mine to the same guy.
RealTree camo ballcap, right? Man, that dude gets around.
I thought of buying one of those. Talking to people who have owned them, they say it makes a fun toy, but it’s exactly that: a toy. It likely wouldn’t tolerate hard use. I want to make something durable and dependable if you really need it.
You had weapons?!?!?
“I’ll stand up and fight for my rights, but I won’t be waving my guns around while doing so. “
If you have to keep your guns out of sight, the game is over friend.
“Shall not be infringed” means exactly that, it doesn’t mean “Shall not be infringed if you pretend you do not have any guns”
I haven’t hunted in years but I’m getting to the age where I could really enjoy an adrenalin boosting hobby.
I don't think they believe that for a second.
It's their excuse for doing it (or, keeping Mexican cartels from getting American machine guns, or for the safety of the children, or whatever other crock of sh!t reason they dream up...).
No, they know dam good and well what they are trying to do - which is get rid of any potentially armed opposition and geld the populace. They just hope enough stupid schmucks buy their line of bullsh!te to either agree with them or insist it passes.
Frankly, they ought to be and should be good and scared of an armed and aroused American populace...
"The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable--and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come." - Patrick Henry, 1775
Why, oh why, do these words sound so prophetic and today?
Too bad for 0bambi that the Heller case reached SCOTUS. As noted in the decision, classes of firearms may not be banned. Just wait... it won’t be long until we kill the “Hughes Amendment” also known as the 1986 machine gun ban.
We aren’t waiting for the anti’s anymore... we’re on the attack. Keep watching for news from the Heller Team out of DC in the next week or so.
Mike
The list may be unofficial or completely fabricated, but the fact is they are going to do it sometime soon. Just waiting for the time.
They need a really high-profile shooting with a stereotyped gun on the list. You can take that to the bank. It IS coming.
I dare you. I double-dog dare you.
One does not win wars by letting the enemy choose the terms of battle. If the enemy is prepared for engagement today, but you can prevent the enemy from winning any major victory today (e.g. by successfully concealing a supply of weapons that will be usable to restore legitimate government) then you may be able to attack the enemy at a time when it is not so prepared.
bttt
You're admitting that the list is contrived, yet insist we should be alarmed. Are you stupid?
When the time comes, then sound the alarm. Until that time, why don't you drama queens knock off the high school hystrionics.
Not last time I looked.
Yep. Reads like a shopping list to me.
It’s an article from infowars.com and has been put to sleep a dozen times on a gun board called The High Road because a) it’s false and b) infowars is not a reliable website.
I also know Alan Korwin. He was on our petition drive to remove McCain from office. In fact, I have a T-shirt of his band. Dang, they’re funny but really serious. Also have his book on AZ laws for carrying. Good man.
Thanks, marktwain. Are we all selling our guns to each other? Be hard to find that way. And legal . . .
