Obama Requires YOU to SERVE, H.R.1388, "The Give Act" to reform the National Service Laws

HR 1388, will hit the House floor on Tuesday.It is called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (The Give Act.) The House is scheduled to Rule this week. Sponsored by Democrat Representative Carolyn McCarthy (NY), Education and Labor Committee. The objective is to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.

Democrat Rep. McCarthy is sponsoring the bill with 25 co-sponsors, ALL Democrats, including Charlie Rangel. Need I say more.

There’s a spiritual reality at work here IMO, which is dark indeed. Much deception in the masses, which can not usually be dislodged through logical persuasion.

Through the Grace of Almighty God, there are those who see through it (at least some of it), but the enemy has focused his weapons of “fear” and “you’re outnumbered, it’s hopeless” on even those who see.

God is greater than Satan, but it’s gonna get ugly, no doubt. As with Esther, some have “come into the Kingdom for such a time as this.”

You are right in theory...but as you said, in practice, this administration is a freakin’ danger. I do not trust them. Not a bit.

I agree with you 100%, Obama will corrupt the process to try to turn us into a socialist fantasy which will never work. We need the right kind of leadership which will revive America's constitutional roots, spirit of independence, and faith in God.

I may look like4 a newbie by my stats, but this is actually my 2nd stint here at FR. I previously posted under a different name, back in the 1998-1999 timeframe...then my life took a different direction and I didn’t FReep for a long time (big-time regrets!).

It is 100% accurate. Obama's hypocrisy is breath taking. His manipulation and DISHONESTY is staggering.

The Committee on Education and Labor's Press Release continues the manipulation but what is most insulting is Obama's water carrier is a REPUBLICAN. Gross. This is what popped out for me...

“The President has asked us to quickly get this legislation to his desk and today we took the first important step toward building a stronger, vibrant America through service and volunteerism,” said U.S. Rep. George Miller (D-CA), chairman of the Committee.

“National and community service can help make Americans a part of the solution to get our country through this economic crisis. I hope the House and Senate will join us in moving as quickly as possible to help President Obama sign this critical bill into law."

Sickening. Miller probably hasn't even read the Bill.
