Obama Requires YOU to SERVE, H.R.1388, "The Give Act" to reform the National Service Laws

HR 1388, will hit the House floor on Tuesday.It is called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (The Give Act.) The House is scheduled to Rule this week. Sponsored by Democrat Representative Carolyn McCarthy (NY), Education and Labor Committee. The objective is to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.

Democrat Rep. McCarthy is sponsoring the bill with 25 co-sponsors, ALL Democrats, including Charlie Rangel. Need I say more.

This is precisely my point as well. Perfectly said. Democrats don't feel the need to move to the center at all. No way. Why should they because in their minds, they don't have to as long as Americans don't notice too much what they are really doing.

Steele, Newt, McCain ..anyone else who will wrestle with the Media wants to be liked FIRST and then they search around and for their principles. Any "Republican" talking heads that agree to go on television to represent the Republican Party need to know they are being used.

Most Republican politicians make it their #1 priority to win the next election. After they win that election, then their next priority is to win the election after that.

A move to the center is a move to the left, but they don't see it that way, or rather they don't want you to see it that way, and they do a good job of selling it to Republican voters.

It's just so frustrating to see the GOP sell out like this.
