Perhaps a film made in Hawaii will put the idea to rest that Obama was not born in the United States. For some skeptics showing a birth certificate might not have been enough. Now some University students are about to produce a film about Obama's birth. These University of Hawaii students will use a cast of local people for the story that takes place at Kapiolani Medical Center, the place where it is conjectured Obama was born. The story will relate how nurses and staff would feel if they knew that the child born there was going to grow up to be President of the United States. It focuses on one nurse in particular passed over for promotion and the baby that is born, with the impact that the event eventually had. The students are advertising for a cast and crew to sign up for this film.
In the meantime Republican Governor Linda Lingle continues to refuse to allow anyone to see the original birth certificate of President Barack Obama, although a copy of it was photographed for the press.

A goofy movie like this may just smoke something or someone out in Hawaii. Stranger things have happened.
I'm looking forward to these palookas' film.
Hawaii isn't all that big of a place. It'll start the locals talking....and maybe some may do some INTERESTING talking.
So, don't pooh-pooh this film. Pray it gets made and distributed quickly.

I think that the above paragraph is telling. Especially the "is likely where he was born". Why is it likely? Why is it a question where he was born. Doesn't everyone know what freakin' hospital they were born in?
Regardless of where you come down on this BC thing, clearly there are some very, very simple questions that haven't been answered.
Good luck interviewing the doctors and hospital staff who were there at the time.
And another thing. Isn’t the birth certificate theory just some kind of crazy impossible scheme invented by sore loser rightwing nutjobs that no normal person would believe anyway?
So why do they need to make a movie to prove the theory wrong?

Really? I've never seen a copy of his original BC that was photographed for the press. Must be referring to the fact check photo, not a copy of his original BC and very possibly a forgery.

Okay wait let me get this straight....in order to “prove” Obama was born in Hawaii they are going to make a film, with actors playing the Obama family, giving birth to “The One”.
Great it can win an Oscar just like the fakumentaries Inconvenient Truth and Bowling for Columbine.
I don’t know what they are referencing with the photograph of the original BC. That’s the first time I’ve heard anything like that.
Come to think of it, maybe the Obama people will not allow them to do the film for this very reason.
That's the first time I've heard this (authenticity of the birth certificate to be ridiculous). Did the governor actually say this or was this speculation by the writer of the article?
