The GOP did the same thing with my former congressman. He ran against a RINO in the primary and defeated him, then the offered almost no help in the general election but won anyway.

After two years they called him a lost cause, stripped him of money and left him to lose by a whopping 2%. Now I have a shiny new democrat congressman who has already managed to rack up a record setting fine for campaign finance violations.

The GOP better get it together and fast.

Tell me about it. That’s my district, too. The district goes all the way to the Ann Arbor area.

And you see that our new democrat’s first act was to get hit with a quarter of a million dollar fine.

Off to a real fine start Mark.

In my opinion, the GOP is getting more and more ideologically bankrupt every day. It's time for Rush and his 20 million listeners to start a new party.

I'm not even a regular Rush listener, but if he started a new, conservative party, I'd join. He couldn't do any worse than the GOP.

Start out small--a couple of local races here and there. Then, build....

That's how we got the commie representative Gabrielle Giffords in my district. A border enforcement candidate beat the chosen GOP moderate boot licker in the primary, so the national GOP pulled their support and let him lose. Rino’s bad mouthed him in the commie media continually.

Have no fear, the Rino’s, certain of victory if their kind of candidate ran, nominated an establishment guy the next time around. She made hash of him.

Thanks Rino’s.

That’s what has been taking place in my state California.

The state leadership might just as well be working for the DNC. They brought us Schwarzenegger and are now trying to give us Whitman.

Now why would we still be registered Republicans?

Good question. A new conservative party (unashamedly both socially and fiscally conservative) is needed, stat. Rush and his listeners could form the nucleus of that party. And with some high profile defections from the GOP, the RNC could be out of business within a couple election cycles. Just like the Whigs.

Here’s a good example where conservatives need to just go around the Party and give to, support, help, etc. her directly. If the Party “leadership” isn’t going to do it, then forget them. It’s OUR Party, not theirs.

Giffords, Schauer, the former Gilchrist seat in Maryland. Chalk up at least three seats due to this crap.

My congressman is Mark Kirk (of IL), a Republican who is pro-illegal alien, pro-choice, pro-gun control, pro-gay marriage, pro-spending increases, and anti-Iraq surge. He first ran for an open seat, in 2000. 11 Republicans ran, in the primary, and the majority of them were conservative. The conservative vote split, helping him win the primary with 31%. The district has had republican congressmen for the past 30 years, so he won the general elections, five times.

In a couple of election cycles, the Dims will have finished our country off. We have to stick with the Republican Party no matter what.

Roseanne, regarding your comment that Ch 5 quoted you on FR, “that Blacks see Mexicans as....”

Why don’t you refute and or send them numerous articles on the recent guys in gangs who were prosecuted for intimidating, shooting and killing Blacks to get them to move out of the area? Hate crimes, neighborhood cleansing.

These are documented facts that have been reported in the LA News the last few years.

I’ll help you..

You can get the original sources from the above, that way nobody can say the source is from the racist FreeRepublic.

Also, I remember a black councilwoman who did an OpEd regarding the cleansing.
