Those who have studied the issue of "natural-born-citizen" might have different ideas about what the Framers intended, but at least we care what it was they intended. So why hide the basic facts that are part of everyones history and are required by any number of State and Federal agencies? You and I have produced these documents willingly for any number of reasons throughout our lives. No one has had to take us to court to prove who we are.

Logic tells me because there is something to hide. It’s illogical to spend so much money, time and effort to keep a $10 document sealed. This leads me to conclude the truth is more damaging to Obama than the expense to keep it from the light of day.

Another way to fight this is every Red State pass a law that requires the Sec of State to ask the candidates for a BC before his name can be placed on the ballot. If that law exists by 2012, BO either produces the doc or forfeit running in those states. If he challenges the law, that would create a public furor and increase curiosity in the issue. BO may avoid the problem in 2012 by not running for reelection.

I agree in part. Rush Limbaugh could make this issue front and center, yet he like other ‘Conservative’ voices are silent save for perhaps an occasional mention or hosting of Berg by Dr. Savage.

I have always been of the opinion that every candidate for Presidential office should have to prove his constitutional qualifications (age and citizenship) before he gets on the ballot.
