“A yet unknown will eventually speak truth to this professional bullshyster and his minions.”
I hope so. Jindal was fantastic on Meet the Press Sunday. Not one “uh-uh” as he spoke. He would kick butt against Obama in a debate. I didn’t think his presentation tonight was very good. BUT his message was terrific. His closing comments were uplifting, Reaganesque even. It’s how the prez should be talking right now. But then, Jindal said we shouldn’t look to Washington and big government to solve our problems so I wouldn’t expect to ever hear those words from O.
Ah, the irony...is lost on you.
A Father/son ticket, are you nuts? talking about taking shots for being power hungry. You do think about these things don’t you?
I’ve read several comments from you here. I get a big impression you would never vote for a woman, any woman.
I just want anyone who reads your posts to disregard them. People, read what this “man” has written.
Note to Melas, half of this population are female. Get over your prejudices.
I happen to think the GOP has two big stars, Palin AND Romney. Both would have been better than Jindal this evening by far.
Correction, and it is getting late, after one year.
McCain won the primary thanks to Giuliani supporters stacking Super Tuesday with New England states and having them winner take all delagates. If Super Tuesday didn’t have these New England states, McCain wouldn’t have the delagates to end the race so early. Plus he didn’t have the money to compete in a prolonged primary. Perhaps, the primary should be changed to have only reliable red states like Idaho to go first in the primary and leave the Northeast for last.
Steele would have blown ‘em all away. He has marvelous presence, confidence, and believability.
We need a GOP before we can do anything about 2010 OR 2012, for that matter.
We need to get rid of three Rats in sheep's clothing in the Senate. And a message would be nice, too. You know, one that provides the foundation for the actions necessary to prove we deserve to be in power? Hell, I would settle for a message that shows the GOP is still relevant. Of course, this also means that we may need to consider COMPLETELY HANDING the House & Senate over to the enemy, just to prove to the American populace that they can't trust a lying, immoral, ignorant piece of crap socialist.
Perhaps the most important thing we need to do is QUIT REACHING ACROSS THE AISLE, unless of course it means CRUSHING the socialists.
You got that one right! I exposed one of those fools the other day. Its quite easy, really.
Yep. Great oratory got us Clinton and Obama. Great oratory predicts great leaders every time. My bad.
As far as speech styles go, Sarah is right up there with Obama and Reagan, IMO. Even the MSM was in awe of how she did right out of the box at the RNC. She’s got that same “something,” that “it.” Watch her at rallies—she totally moves people, which is why the Obamabats are so concerned about her.
I was just thinking about an Obama/Jindal debate...then I began to think about an Obama/Palin debate and started to smile.
She was sensational! She can do it if the Party gets behind her and ignores the Romneyites and the RINOs.
Shes the only hope for true conservatives."
The MAIN problem will be the Rockefellian RINOs and globalist CFRers who now control the GOP.
There is NO question who creates the most buzz for the Republican Party.
I would not be averse to having Palin run as an Independent should the GOP play games in 2012.
I know this isn't a popular sentiment here, but I think we made a big mistake by not nominating Giuliani.
And as of now, I feel he has the best shot against Obama.
Exactly, Gov Jindal really nailed the Conservative message. He is a very likable personality who walks the walk and talks the talk. He and Sarah would be a great team.
Pray for America, Our Troops and Gov Palin
Didn't Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia give the rebuttal a couple of years ago? I remember being on a FR thread commenting on it... we were all on the floor laughing at his weird eyebrow going up and down... LOL. I don't remember a thing he said, just that stupid eyebrow!
Even though I like Romney, I wonder if he really believes the conservative message like Jindal and Palin. I truly hope he had a true conversion from his Senatorial run. He says some things that do disturb me, but he is clearly a successful person who is articulate. Doubt if he could do well in the south regardless what happens, though.
I think the more voices we have on the conservative side, the better. As far as a candidate goes, 3 years is a long time. I think someone will catch fire.
