Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the ammo (already packed in cans for burying) is coming in from Russia? The irony is delicious.
I have a few of these. They cans smell like an industrial dump and the ammo shots dirty but it'll do the trick.

It is time for many South Floridians to get a grip. Not on their weapons, but on their senses.
First, there was the big run on guns, both locally and nationally, when it was feared the Obama administration would quickly enact tougher gun legislation that would make it difficult to own guns.
Didn't happen. And doesn't figure to happen, particularly since the Supreme Court has reinforced the right of an individual to bear arms.
But that hasn't deterred some South Floridians, who are storming gun shops for ammunition - particularly rounds for military-style assault weapons.

Agree — here in my L.A. area suburb there’s been a huge increase in home break-ins and such, despite the stupid mayor and police chief’s rants that crime is way way down from past years. Nonsense — not in the semi-suburban areas it isn’t!
Some of us are arming ourselves — many for the first time. It’s just good common sense. If the criminal element tries to break into my house, he will be met with a gun, and thanks to the friendly folks at the local target range, I now know how to use it!

A couple of times a week when I pass a Walmart or Academy Sports I have to stop and buy a few dozen more rounds.
Since I have been doing that, I have found myself losing 10 pounds, so buying ammo is healthy.

I truly wish once, just once, they’d get a journalist who actually knew something about firearms to write these things.
Of course, if that were the case, they’d actually have to write something other than the histrionic babblings of “guns bad!, GUNS BAD!!1!”
All my friends got hysterical. Frothing at their mouths they descended on our favorite regional gun shop, and twictchingly pulled out their credit cards and denuded the shop of all AR-15 clones and every round of .223 ammo in the state.
These same frothing at the mouth friends in their legion numbers, then descended upon the local ranges, and zerod in their weapons.
I have wondered how all of these manic, frothing at the mouth friends , could be so steady of aim in their hysteria.
Most shot only 5 rounds, are ex military, and have NO criminal records.Fancy that!
I sit alone at home, trembling in abject paranoia, that somehow, I will awaken with white froth around my newly hysterical mouth.
