Several other posters have suggested a "downside legacy" for Obama's administration.

The DSL for Clinton's administration was gathered and organized as if 3x5 cards. For the 1990's that worked ok.

But my recommendation this time around was for someone with database experience to pick up the ball, to capture urls, source information, key words, persons, names, etc.

I strongly agree.

And you have more than enough on your plate already!

Besides paying in plenty of blood, sweat and tears many times over . . . already.

Jim, could we put some sort of banner up on all threads/pages seeking such a person? I think it’s a very high priority.

Thanks for the ping and believe me, I want to help out in this effort, but I am no expert on databases. I'm not an IT person, but I know there are many FReepers here who are.

I am also somewhat hindered by long work hours and time zones.

But I was active in the early days doing some FReeping activities regarding the recount nonsense in 2000 and some of the pre-war protests and I will be active again this time around.

No sweat.

There must be an ideal retired person in our ranks somewhere.

I think you're confusing me with another FReeper. I'm nowhere near retirement and put in about 80 hours a week. And I'm not at all technical. I'm a "user and abuser." ;-)

If I think of someone who would be good for this, I'll give 'em a tweak.

Actually, I don’t keep the details about most FREEPERS in my head that actively! LOL.

Sorry. Just sounded like you were somewhat knowledgeable in areas useful.

Please do tweak whomever!

Please put me on the ping list for any such.

And NEW MEXICANS and others in the 4 corners area . . . please . . . let us organize a FOUR CORNERS CHAPTER IN AT LEAST SOME FUNCTIONAL MUTUALLY SUPPORTIVE FORM. MORE LOCALIZED UNITS WOULD BE WISE, TOO.

I think we need some way to vet folks as well . . . sleeper trolls & worse are not needed.

SHIPROCK, CORTEZ, DURANGO, BAYFIELD, AZTEC, BLOOMFIELD, KIRTLAND, WATERFLOW, HOGBACK, LA PLATA, MANCOS, FARMINGTON, BLANCO, CEDAR HILL, IGNATIO, . . . . .

I like these ideas. Whatever is done, I think it needs to be more in-your-face and not party-political-work-as-usual because that just doesn't leverage a few people enough. Look at the tactics of some of the environmental groups, some of the anti-pet animal groups -- a few people, but in your face. Of course, they get all the publicity. I do realize that if PETA has 100 people somewhere it is reported as a huge protest and if we have 100 people somewhere it's probably not even reported... But my point is, routine party work, just harder and longer, isn't going to do it. IMHO.

Hi, I live West of Milwaukee and would love to help get things moving. I have been more of a lurker here, but have been active with our local GOP during the last two Bush campaign and this last election.

It would be nice to set up some meetings. I know a lot of Conservatives around here who would love to be active in something that would matter.

Thanks Jim for all you do. You have been a real inspiration over the years. I have been more of a lurker since the Clinton/Monica days, but I have helped at the local level getting involved with the GOP Bush campaigns.

Please add me to the Wisconsin ping list. I will do all I can to help preserve our country for my daughter and my eventual grandchildren.

Forming a group to agitate for a Constitutional convention under Article V is the last hope for the Republic.

If 34 states pass resolutions calling for one the Congress must convene it.

The will of the people in the majority of states which are not under direct control of the socialists might enable Republic saving amendments to be enacted, alliances among the remaining free states to form, and begin the mechanism of separation from socialist America if free and sovereign states deem it necessary.

Diane, would you please add catsseyes to the WI ping list.

cat, go to your home page. There will be a link that says, "you can edit this page." Click on that and then choose the your state from the drop down box. You will get notices at the top of the page when new message is added to the state message board. You can also join in the discussion there.

Ron Paul Meetup Groups are already organized all over the U. S. Ron Paul groups are computer savvy and technically savvy. There are also Libertarian Meetup groups all over the place. I suggest people form Meetups with already established Conservative Groups to combined interests and resources. To learn more about Meetups: Click Here To Learn More
