GARYSBURG, N.C. -- Amtrak officials say they removed a passenger who was behaving suspiciously from a train in North Carolina on Monday.
The Silver Star was headed to Miami from New York when it stopped in Garysburg, N.C., near N.C. 64. That happened just before 7 p.m. about 30 miles east of Rocky Mount.

The dude can't be screaming "Allah is great" or "Death to the infidels!" THAT would be profiling and that is wrong...
Maybe reading the Koran while sharpening a sword?
Let me guess. Acting like a devil worshipping muzzie?
Perhaps a little to much time in the bar car hitting the firewater.
I had to read the details, they stopped the train first.
It was me and I am very strange. They did the right thing.
Maybe he was trying to saw the heads off people?
EDWARDS!!!
LOL
“Maybe he was trying to saw the heads off people?”
That’s against the rules on Amtrak? It happens on Greyhound.
Disruptive passenger halts trainby Todd Wetherington and Lance Martin
Daily Herald Staff WritersGARYSBURG - More than 200 Amtrak passengers waited four hours last night as police dogs cased a train for a bomb.
The train was stopped just short of the N.C. Highway 46/U.S. Highway 301 intersection in Garysburg after a passenger announced he was carrying a bomb.
Northampton County Emergency Management Coordinator Tim Byers said a passenger became unruly and during an altercation claimed a bomb was on the train.

The man, whose name was not known at press deadline, was taken into custody and law enforcement reportedly found what is suspected to be either PCP or angel dust in the man's carry-on bag.
Bomb technicians and bomb-sniffing dogs from the Virginia State Police were dispatched to the scene and found no evidence of a bomb. The train was back on its way at just past 11:15 p.m., Byers said.

Some years ago, we were taking that very train to Fla when it made an unscheduled stop in some town in either NC or SC. Cops came on the train, walked through our car. We weren’t stopped more than 15 minutes and away we went. They took some drunk rowdy types off. As the train pulled away, we could see them arguing with the cops.
Apparently the lesson to be learned from this is: “when transporting PCP upon your person on a train through rural North Carolina, don’t make bomb threats”.
Thanks for the update KS Flyover.
I appreciate it.
AMTRAK dumped off a guy who was having a diabetic reaction thirty miles from the nearest town ... suspicious I guess ... so what is their definition of suspicious activity? Is there a “No Suspicious Activity List Rule” thing that’s posted somewhere????
been on that train to orlando. great personnel. that is when i discovered why there are few blacks in airports, trains are black territory.
And our train stopped three times to deliver a criminal into polin=ce hands.
Perhaps he was looking like he was going to rape someone (leering).
Apparently he had PCP in his bag.
