MEET UP 10 A.M. MONDAY AT SPECTER’S OFFICE 711 HART SENATE OFFICE BUILDING
Just checked the airlines. Looks like we can get reasonably priced tickets to DC. Will arrive Sunday night. Available to protest Porkulus Monday and Tuesday and return to Fresno as a free man on Wednesday.
Will anyone join me?
I cannot make it but will offer prayer support.

I have jury duty this week. I’m sorry I can’t make it.
(What a time to have jury duty. The kinda mood I’m in right now tells me they won’t select me for any jury. LOL)

I am no longer convinced that this is possible, but I will continue to pray that it is.
Being short notice and not being the originator of this ground swell, at this time I don’t know of any meeting plans other than 10AM Monday at Specter’s office. If I find out anything, I’ll post it, so keep looking at the threads.
This may be individual efforts thing. And that isn’t bad. A continuous stream of “Kill the Porkulus” bill people will keep up the pressure.
As of now, I have to look at my own schedule.
Just have a clear statement to relay when you get to the each senator’s office.

I have emailed the usually suspects about this protest, so look for some play. Time for old school as the kids say.
How about, “Senator, I would really appreciate it if you don’t collapse the dollar.”
Oh, and if I had a pile of One Trillion Dollar Zimbabwe notes, I would hand one to each Senator.

I would love to go on such a trip, but I can’t.... most of my available money is going to the purchase of stew meat, vegetable garden seeds and much more ammo. ;>)

Call Jim DeMint’s office, I am sure he would do what he could to help you all (get places, see people, get on TV, etc).
Along those lines, I think a “press release” needs to be sent out to all media announcing that “the People” want to be heard.

I just checked Jet Blue. Long Beach - DC (IAD) is $119 out and $109 return. The outbound is limited at that price for a Sunday departure. Return on Tuesday is wide open at $109.
I’m marooned in Illinois with no time left to take off from work.
Sure wish I could be there :(
