Obama is the most remarkable Democratic communicator of my lifetime, I think, and even he's not rising to the task, yet. He needs to lay out his priorities, clearly; he needs to simplify his pitch, yet he also needs to add some depth to his and our understanding of how we got here. This economic crisis is not just about bad mortgages and/or the housing bubble bursting, and it won't be solved by reinflating that bubble, the Republicans' latest dumb idea. These problems have been building since at least the 1970s. Here's how Reich laid it out on Salon....

You could spend a week picking apart this mess of liberal bias and assumptions, but one thing is clear. They are getting nervous as people start recognize that Obama can't live up to his image. Watch for the inevitable "comeback" meme as the MSM shock troops try to rally their man.

Its interesting watching ‘Change’ turn into ‘blind freakin panic’ isn’t it?
This is exactly what happens when the proverbial dog catches the car.

As Karl Rove said last night, Obama is “winging it”.
The man is clueless and this Presidency will be a disaster. The only question is if and when Dems realize that the man is a liability to their party.

Apparently, the white left is very impressed with the black gospel preacher style that Obama evokes when he speaks. It reminds me of the many white teenagers who, for some strange reason, adopt the accent, walk and hand gestures of black men in an apparent attempt to look cool. You never see black teenage males doing a karl Rove imitation. So, why is Obama’s skreechy, preachy speech pattern so worshiped by the liberal whites? Do they all want to be black? Is there some kind of value added?

I could have, possibly, limited his whole statement to six, possibly five, or four words, maybe.

Joan Walsh is another economic know-nothing who thinks that the money that flows to those in the upper income levels should flow to lowest eschalon of American workers (whose wages according to Walsh have been stagnating).
What she doesn't understand is government has no control over where money flows in a free market economy and any attempt to control it only impedes growth. The best, if not only, way for those at the lowest income levels to raise their incomes is to retrain for higher paying activities.

...needs to add some depth... This is the scary part. Liberals fancy themselves as being much deeper intellectually than us knuckle dragging Republicans. Looks like Ol Floppy Ears isn't living up to the expectations of the intellectually elite left.
