HOLDER:...I think you had asked me earlier about the regulations that I thought might still exist, post-Heller. And I had mentioned, I think, closing the gun show loophole, the banning of cop-killer bullets and I also think that making the assault weapons ban permanent would be something that would be permitted under Heller, and I also think would be good for my law enforcement perspective.

That would be a cool tatoo. Well, without the yellow background.

I think any good tat artist could use that as a starting point and do some very cool work.

Is that your design? I know the original Gadsden Flag is just the coiled rattlesnake which is still cool.

I bought the rights from the artist to use it on my first book.

You can get the gist of them from the excerpts online. About 100 pages of each book are there.

Cool, thanks.
If you don't mind Travis I would like to use that design for a tat.

Who would mind? But I think a good tattoo artist can go well beyond that simple redition. It’s very simple, to be “readable” at thumbnail size. If an artist did it, I’d expect a way cooler snake, for one thing.

Well, I’ll take it and go with it. I’ll definitely post up pics. I don’t have any ink on me right now but have been debating for years. They’re so damn expensive to get a decent size.

I am 51 and tat-free and intend to stay that way. I guess it’s a generational shift thing.

So, given that, they have just effectively declared war on the citizenry of the US, no?That is basically my opinion.

We'll be lucky to keep single shot rifles. You mean "deadly, hyper-accurate, sniper rifles"? I'm afraid that's out of the question. You now have 24 hours to report to your local reeducation camp for proper instruction on such matters.
Remember: Brother Obama is watching you.

I remember some years ago when Chuckie Schumer was in a lather about “Cop-killer Bullets”. Some dimwitted “scientist” told him that any jacketed bullet would pierce a vest, and he naturally believed it. Eventually so many people laughed at him for being so gullible he let it drop. This was back around the same time Howie Metzenbaum (remember him?) was yelling about those new “plastic guns” from Glock that wouldn’t show up on an X-ray. never underestimate the stupidity of an anti-gun politician, or his MSM stooges. Remember all that “news” footage of machine guns being fired and called “semi-automatic assault weapons”?

That would be a cool tatoo. Well, without the yellow background. The yellow is historically important.
It's from the Gadsden Flag, considered the "First Flag of the United States" .
A related flag is this one, the First Naval Jack. It's flown today, since 2001 September 11, by US Navy Ships.
Of course I'm somwhat partial to the Gonzales Flag, which could be considered the first flag of the Texas Revolution.

I've nothing against tats; but every time I considered getting one, it always seemed like some other expense popped up. I'm a few year younger than you, Travis, but you're right about it being a "generational" priority. Me, I was always saving up for a car, hotrod parts for said car, or gun stuff.
And speaking of gun stuff, might it not be better to spend some $$$ on something like, say, *this* ---
...instead of a tattoo, at this point in time?
Obama won't be signing any anti-tattoo bills into law anytime soon, y'know?

It is unbelievable to me that A.) Obama would nominate him. and B.) The Senate would confirm him. Both are democRat...
I assume your disbelief is based on your general common sense instead of on the knowledge of the tendencies of the parties involved?
In other words, why is it unbelievable? To me, this is entirely to be expected, just like his queers and infanticide policies.
