It is unbelievable to me that A.) Obama would nominate him. and B.) The Senate would confirm him.

I assume your disbelief is based on your general common sense instead of on the knowledge of the tendencies of the parties involved?

In other words, why is it unbelievable? To me, this is entirely to be expected, just like his queers and infanticide policies.

I still expected that the one small advantage of Obama over Hillary was that the worst of the Clintonistas would be allowed to remain in exile. I'm just amazed by this one in particular, and a bunch of others as well. (Bill Richardson - wasn't he a bumbling incompetent at Energy?). There are good and bad Republicans too. It would be like McCain having won and made Brownie head of the Interior Department.
