Who are the 5 who didn't vote for him. Kudos out to them. This idiot will head the IRS too, yet he conveniently forgot to pay taxes for 4 years?
We are in deep doo doo folks, and it is only the beginning.

There wasn’t any doubt that he wasn’t going to be approved as Tres. Sec. Personally, I believe we should not appoint liars and cheats on any executive positions. I’m not sure what the thinking was behind his approval, but it’s a flagrant disrespect to the American people. Hey, let’s appoint Maddoff as the head of the DoJ! This makes me sick.

The Obama Administration - Most Corrupt in History.

This guy does not pay his taxes and gets the top money job. Al Capone did not pay his taxes and gets the federal pen. Go figure. I guess as long as you are a liberal dimocrat the law does not apply. They just make up the rules regarding dimocrats as they go along. Commit a crime, get a pass. A conservative opens his mouth in descent, and gets a hate speech crime charge. Welcome to communism folks. It is communism. All socialism is, is a tamer word for communism. TOTAL GOVERNMENT CONTROL. This is what America thinks it wants. Americans have never had to live under a government dominated society, that if you speak up, you disappear in the night and are never heard from again. They free murderers at Gitmo and will jail Americans who raise a question of the chosen one and dimocrats. Americans have sentenced themselves into government domination. A self inflicted wound. Well, no one said this country would last forever. We are repeating Rome's mistakes. Thus, we will fall.

I predict “pulled a Geithner” will be a popular slogan in court during this admin. Why should anyone try to be honest anymore if not being so gets you to the top of the pig pile?

He will now face a full Senate vote, but it is baffling how he could get a thumbs up in the committee. Partisanship is one thing, but group complicity is another. This man isn’t fit to serve as the Treasury Secretary. His integrity has been destroyed.

His former employer, the IMF, grossed up his paycheck to cover the cost of his tax bill. He pocketed this extra money. He’s a crook.

It's a gas, all the folks responsible for creating the mess are now in charge of
covering cleaning it up.

American government in general becomes more and more pathetic by the day.
I guess paying taxes is “patriotic” unless you happen to be a Democrat.
