The reason we have things like Communism is because people have a herd mentality. They always want to be part of something and are willing to suspend their individualism to be part of it. They only find out later that they no longer are individuals, but unknowing cogs in an apparatus that wouldn’t hesitate to destroy them if they spoke out.
The same leftwing that every radical group with an agenda supports would be the first to be destroyed once the transformation to the new paradigm was complete.

That's because there isn't one. Pure democracy is as fatal as pure oxygen. Our march away from a Republic into a Democracy is leading us down a path that no nation has ever survived. Mob rule is unsustainable, and our particular mob is voting itself the modern equivalent of bread and circuses. That's a habit a culture can't break until it hits rock bottom.
What's worse is that the I-get-mine-at-all-costs death spiral is paired with a cloak of moral self-righteousness. We have to spend this money because it's for the poor / the environment / human rights / the children / to keep people in their homes / to undo the wrongs of the past / or any number of things that sound nice.
It's now immoral, in popular culture, to oppose the left. That's why no shocking secret is going to destroy the Obama Presidency. Obama could bomb Myanmar, and people would cheer, because Myanmar is run by tyrants who have it coming. Obama could sell cocaine to kids on the White House tour, and their parents would marvel at the organic, Whole Foods quality of it. Obama could waterboard Rush Limbaugh on national television, and people would say that Rush should have kept his mouth shut.
No secret revelation will change people that think with their hearts. Obama is what they want.
It will come to a collapse before the government is no longer able to buy off the unthinking masses with bread and circuses, before people realize they must depend upon themselves, their family, friends and God in order to survive. Perhaps then they will develop their values.

One might think so, but apparently not the Senator I wrote to. Yesterday I received a letter from that Senator addressing my concerns regarding Obama's citizenship. The Senator explained the situation by first stating the 14th Amendment and told me that Hawaii became a state in 1959,
that Obama was born there in 1961 and therefore eligible,
that Obama had released an official copy of his birth certificate and
that his birth records have been certified and validated by the Hawaii Dept. of Health as well as by experts from the U. of Pennsylvania.
Further, the Senator wrote that the USSC declined to hear the case and agreed with the lower courts' rulings that the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring the legal challenges questioning Obama's citizenship.
With that, he thanked me for my having contacted him.

Dascallie, that comment is way out of line.
I posted his response on a couple of other birth certificate threads and I was asked whether or not I had responded to him yet. I haven't and don't have much to respond with. Unless I have Obama's birth certificate, which I don't, all I have is suspicion. It's not what I think I know, but what I can prove.
He believes that the state of Hawaii has certified it and that UPenn. verifies it and the US Supreme Court declines to bother with it. Why should he choose to believe me over them? All I have is "I read about it on the internet."
Whether I believe Obama is Constitutionally viable or not (I don't), the fix is in. Unless someone somewhere has something better and can trump the list the Senator gave me, for now the now lone republican Senator in this state has better things to do.
