Al Qaeda hit by Black Death fear as medieval plague kills 40 terrorists at training camp

Al Qaeda terrorists have been left fearing the Black Death plague after it wiped out at least 40 insurgents at an Algerian training camp, it was reported today. The horror disease, which killed 25 million people in medieval Europe, is understood to have been found in a militant’s body dumped at a roadside. Terror group AQLIM (al Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb) was forced to turn its shelter in the Yakouren forests into mass graves and flee, it has been claimed.

Now al Qaeda chiefs are said to fear the plague has been passed into other cells - and possibly Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. Many insurgents may choose to surrender for treatment rather than die a horrible death. ‘This is the deadliest weapon yet in the war against terror,’ a security source told The Sun: ‘Most of the terrorists do not have the basic medical supplies needed to treat the disease. ‘It spreads quickly and kills within hours. This will be really worrying al-Qaeda.’

” Yes, it is easily treatable, “

Keep in mind that our vaunted Public Health System has never been tested against a *real* epidemic....

(I may be wrong, but I think that FEMA would be in charge — and that turns a hair or two...)

So how long will it be before Hussein’s Sec. of Health invites all of these charming “freedom fighters” to the US for treatment?

Simplified version:
Bubonic is spread to humans by fleas from infected rats and mice, or via open wounds/cuts.
Pneumonic is spread human to human like the flu or a cold.

Antibiotics work, but MUST be started EARLY. There is no vaccine.

http://www.dhss.mo.gov/Ready_in_3/BiologicalAgents/PlagueFactSheet.pdf

How did this happen?
Four possibilities:
(1) the good old fashioned “nature's own” way via rats, mice, fleas.
(2) nature had a little help from (insert alphabet agency of choice).
(3) they were playing “Junior Cave Bio Weapon Scientist” and things got a little out of hand.
(4) they were test subjects, willing or otherwise, and sacrificed to further the greater cause.

It really does not matter.

What do we know?
Four certainties:
(1) a bunch of turrurists are now dead that were not dead before (score 1 for our team)
(2) the turrurists know they have a bio weapon in their midst. (score one for their team)
(3) the turrurists have working knowledge of how that weapon works. (score one for their team)
(4) the turrurists have working knowledge of a crude delivery system for that weapon. (score 1 for their team)

Bio weapons in and of themselves are ancient and crude weapons: nature unleashed on itself. Containing, controlling, and delivering them are something altogether different. These creeps are consummate opportunists. If I am celebrating anything it is not their losses but the "heads-up" we've been given for having discovered the genie is out of the jar.

The theory is the different bugs break into cells the same way.

My own theory is the bugs are particularly fond of antibody type "E" ~ so if you don't have "E", and many people don't (about 2% maybe), they become immune, or they simply starve the bugs to death.

That's just my theory ~

The epidemiologists are probably jumping on top of this one since the implication is there is now a very resilient flea that can make it from Afghanistan to North Africa, and then spread the infection to local fleas.

This could attack most of the world if that's the case!

Medieval people being killed by a medieval disease. Ironic, no?

Man ought not get so arrogant with modern technology and modern medicine that we begin to believe that we've defeated disease.

Maybe in a general way, but penicillin does just fine for plague.

Muslims need to warned that ANY vaccinations are in reality poisons and are the works of Zionist spies. DO NOT allow foreign white devils the chance to kill your children or you. STAY away from all medicines. Pray to Allah and ask for healing.

Sorry Sammy, but this was posted yesterday.

But I’ll answer your query the same way I did everyone else’s yesterday.

No, this wasn’t a bioweapon. These terrorists are living in very remote areas infested with rodents, the carriers of plague.

Every year in this country a half-dozen or so people, usually hunters, get the plague. Rabbits in this country are the wildlife reservoir for plague bacteria. A woman died here in the U.S. last year from plague that wasn’t diagnosed quickly enough.

I did find the news that the terrorists fled Algeria, and hopefully some went to Pakistan and Afghanistan, carrying the disease with them. Takes about a week for symptoms to show up after initial exposure. Nature dealing the war on terror one hell of a boost!

God sure works in mysterious, and not so mysterious, ways.

Incubators and or test subjects...

Hate to say it, but they don’t give a hoot if they die this way, as long as they take as many as they can in the process...

Do you really think there isn't going to be something ELSE happen in the next 30 hours that will be blamed on Bush?

Try 30 years. BDS is a resilient disease.
