Officials at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., have been served with a demand to produce records concerning Barack Obama's attendance there during the 1980s because they could document whether he was attending as a foreign national – in one of three fronts now established by those contesting the president-elect's constitutional eligibility for the Oval Office.
The Supreme Court and Congress also both are being challenged to address the worries that Obama doesn't meet the requirements of the U.S. Constitution that the president be a "natural born" citizen.
WND has reported on a long list of legal cases raising questions over the issue, and several of those have reached the U.S. Supreme Court already. Justices have so far declined to give any of the cases full hearings on their merits, but another conference remains on the Supreme Court docket for Jan. 23 on the issue

3. Some crackpots keep filing lawsuits that go nowhere because they have no merit, and WND keeps hyping them. But nothing will happen because there is no evidence that there is actually a problem.
For instance, here in WV, before the famed daytime first-ever Convention on Super Tuesday, only 12 of 1,300 delegates had publicly committed for McCain (while there were about 300-400 each for Romney, Huckabee, Paul, etc.) -- only 10 more than had publicly committed for Duncan Hunter, which included me! But by the time that day's vote started there were 126 for McCain, possibly based on recent results in NH. There were enough of them to pull that secret switcheroo deal which gave the win, and thus all the daytime publicity, to Huckabee so as to damage Romney, who had been the frontrunner in WV.
Candidates started dropping out soon thereafter, and when we had our primary here to pick the other delegates, only McCain was left as a viable candidate, so most the Republicans I know feel betrayed by the process and extremely dissatisfied with McCain. I don't know a single person here in WV who supported McCain in February, and we kept asking each other the rest of the year, how did he end up the nominee? The answer has a lot to do with getting 100% of delegates for only 30% of the vote in a multi-candidate race. If this isn't changed next time, we will have lost a good many political activists who are mad.
Hopefully, they will also handcuff Joe Biden, Dinjy Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean for the cover-up.

If Obama were arrested, who would become President? Would they disqualify the entire ticket and name McCain as the President (or would it go to Biden)?
It would go to Biden, as the Electoral College votes have already been certified by the joint Houses of Congress.
Mr. Akin’s comments tell me that the courts “could” still disqualify Obama from the Presidency?
It would really be something if they also arrested Biden, Dinjy Harry and Pelosi for a criminal cover-up.
There would be a huge gutting of the majority of Democrats from government, as so many have known for a long time that Obama is not a natural born citizen and therefore ineligible to be president.
I hope the courts at least have the ability to force Zero to produce the birth certificate! This is insane that not one Secretary of State has not asked for this document in certifying their election results.

I was asking about that very thing, from other FReepers here, and it was told to me that the only way a President could be removed was through Congress with Impeachment and Conviction.
I asked specifically if a Marshal could walk into the White House with court orders and escort Obama off the premises and/or escort to jail like you’re saying and the answers I got back was “no way” ...

It couldn’t happen fast enough, unfortunately. It takes 2/3 of Congress to propose a Constitutional Amendment. I don’t know if they’ve got 2/3 or not. Then it takes the states (the people there) to vote to ratify (each state) — a minimum of 3/4 of the states.
It only takes 13 to block the Amendment and then it’s *done* and over (i.e., not approved).
In real terms, this just won’t happen. Just look at the states that the Republican ticket won and see if you think those states would turn to ratifying such an Amendment for Obama. Furthermore, I’m not even sure some of the Democrat states would do such a thing...

BUT, it’s entirely possible to get a *definition* of “natural born” from the Supreme Court that could benefit Obama. *That* could happen....

According to other FReepers who support the Constitution, when asked this, it was said, “no way” — that the only way to remove a President is through the process defined in the Constitution.
I see that rationale, too, because there is separation of powers for the three branches of government... Only in the way that is defined in the Constitution, could another branch intrude on one branch (like the Legislative, with the Executive, in an Impeachment trial, for example).
