Electronic unemployment systems in at least three states crashed under the crush of thousands of new claims from unemployed Americans.
Along with having trouble keeping up with online filings, state unemployment centers are also swamped with telephone inquiries.
The situation has an upside though, some states are hiring workers to deal with the increased workload created by other people losing a job.

How convenient.
NJ’s phone lines were shut down, yet our esteemed governor is in Iraq on a junket.
NC had an all-time record yesterday, for unemployment compensation paid out in a single day. $31 million.
See, the Obama job creation has already begun! Who says Hussein doesn't know what he is doing?

It’s simple democrap economics.
Tax the Eeeeeeeeeevil rich so they can’t buy boats and have extravagent parties...
Then there will be enough tax revenue to pay unemployment benefits to those people who used to build boats and cater parties.
Everything works out.. except for no boats or parties
When my Dad retired from the Air Force, he had a hard time getting work because he didn’t have a degree. The first day he took the step to filing for unemployment, he asked for a job application at the unemployment office. They hired him that day and he has worked his way up through their managment. He is now 3 years from retirement from the State working for the employment securities division. It happens.
I wonder how many of those filing for unemployment would never even think about getting a job in the unemployment office.
I’m betting all those unemployed liberal journalists are considering it.
