It’s like I’ve been saying in these previous posts about the Supreme Court taking up this Constitutional issue, about Obama being a “natural-born Kenyan” and not being qualified as President of the United States. They’re not interested in resolving this issue right now — but — they probably will resolve it after Obama has served his term in office... LOL..
So much for the Constitution these days...
To: sten
Reason was the SCOTUS didn’t want to upset the apple cart.
And that is a real good reason to ignore the Constitution. God forbid people not like it.
(sarcasm off)

Maybe now the FR will regain a bit of its sanity and purpose. Uh, defending the Constitution IS our purpose. If you want to get along to go along and pretend everything is hunky-dory then go somewhere else.

My mind will not change for any reason short of the release of the vaulted BC from its concealment.

Begin by finding out who the REPUBLICANS are. Locally, that means, perhaps, getting some good polling as to who those 20% of GOP voters who voted for Obama are. No sense working to turn out the base if 20% of the base votes for the other guy.

The Supreme Court weighs-in with its official opinion on Presidential qualifications...

I will wait to see what happens with Cort’s case and Keyes’ case.

You asked — “and the reason was... “
The Supreme Court doesn’t have to give a reason...

I hope nobody here seriously thought the Supreme Court would uphold the Constitution in a case involving the black messiah! Not as long as N0 played it cool and didn't tweak the Justices noses or dare them or anything. That would've swung Souter and probably Kennedy over to reviewing it. They don't like having their noses tweaked.

Did the USSC indicate WHO has the standing to ensure a candidate for office meets the qualifications stated in the US Constitution?
Or were the Founders just supposing the Constitution would be followed by gentlemen with a sense of honor?

“Yep. Anyone who thought the birth certificate thing was going anywhere was positively looney. It's the same crowd that barked for years in the 1990s, ‘If the people only KNOW x, y, z about Clinton, they'll impeach him/throw him out/his popularity will fall.’ Nope. “ You idiot. Bill Clinton WAS impeached.
Go smear yourself, rather than others. This is not the only case dealing with this issue before courts.

There is no dissent, no group of Justices who say this should have been considered, and giving their reasons. The lack of a dissent is, in my experience with the Court, a green light for all courts at the federal and state level, to throw out all remaining Obama-citizenship cases, without factual hearings.
The only thing left is a protest on the record in the Joint Session of Congress when it officially counts the Electoral College votes. The protest will not get a hearing and will go nowhere, but that's all that's left.

‘Yeah, Alan Keyes...will definitely hitch my wagon to THAT star...’
Cort’s case is next and then Gail Lightfoot with Orly Taitz. Keyes case is still in the California Superior Court
To: Jersey Republican Biker Chick
Yes. I havent looked very closely at the Keyes case (yet), but at least he appears to have standing to bring it.

You're going to see dozens of lawsuits challenging the validity of every law Obama signs.
A few foreign nations are already raising similar questions. Apparently Zero's pride is more important than global stability.
As for FReepers who oppose finding the truth. I really have to wonder how much damage they're willing to do to the country for political gain.
