Does this Barack Obama birth certificate issue bug you because, although improbable, it's possible that he's not a natural born citizen, isn't eligible to be President under the Constitution, and this issue could be bigger than Watergate -- or any other "gate" in history?
Are you afraid that if you were even to raise the subject with your friends that they will think you wear a tinfoil hat, because Factcheck.org, the final arbiter of truth in the universe, said so?
Are you with the news media, and after spending so much money to get Barack Obama elected, you'd hate to ruin your investment?
Are you a talk radio host who thinks that if you say the burden of proof needed to demonstrate one is eligible to be Commander in Chief should be at least as high as, oh, say, the level to be eligible for Hawaiian homestead status (see 1.F. below), that you'd be forced to give equal time to someone who disagrees?
Are you a conservative, libertarian, or any conscientious constitutionalist from any ideological side of life, who's convinced something's not right, but you're afraid your reputation might be tarnished because, after all, this could be one big Saul-Alinsky-style set-up, and the joke would be on you?
Fear not! Joe the Farmer has prepared an outline showing that no matter how this issue is ultimately resolved, you have legitimate concerns, and that Barack Obama should, simply out of respect for the nation he was elected to lead, disclose the sealed vault copy of his birth certificate.
Given the circumstances, if Barack Obama respected this nation, he would prove it by the simplest and easiest of gestures - unless, of course, all this talk about change and hope was just a bunch of bull,

This part was not what I was taught years ago, but then people throw this part in because Mccain was not born in the USA. That was my common understanding. You had to be born in the United States, that was so no Britain could be president.
I believe, if I remember correctly, Senator Obama voted YES on this (not PRESENT for once).
Miss Missouri, Claire McCaskill, has done everything short of having Obama’s baby to get a position in his cabinet once he's elected.
And, don't you think it was suspicious that a bunch of Dems planned a vote on the natural born citizen thing when it was TOTALLY UNNECCESSARY because it had already been proven in a court case that Senator McCain was eligible??? Actual lawsuits have been filed regarding Obama's eligibility, yet the Senate hasn't taken a similar action vis a vis The One. Curious.
In the Constitution, it states that a President must be either a natural born citizen or “a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution.” The second clause grandfathers in the people of the newly formed country.
My understanding is that McCain was eligible under the Naturalization act of 1790 which made children born to US citizens natural born citizens regardless of whether they were born on US soil or not. Its important to understand that the law specifies that the parents, plural, must be US citizens to guarantee natural born status to their offspring. Therefore there was no need for the Senate in April to pass that resolution of understanding regarding McCain’s status. It also means that in the Denofrio case, McCain’s eligibility is not in jeopardy.

Even Democrats ought to be pleading with Obama to end the mystery and the uncertainty over his qualifications. Those (damn) few Democrats with an iota of intellectual honesty are surely praying in private for him to do so, though they dare not speak a word of doubt about the Obamessiah in public.
I've had a few emails from frightened Freepers who fear that we endanger ourselves by speaking out. I've told every one of them that shrinking into cowed silence is the surest way to invite the Obot storm troopers into our living rooms.

Tell everyone you talk to that you will not allow the wholesale destruction of our Constitutional form of government, nor will you stand by mute while you and your neighbors are disarmed and stripped of the freedoms our ancestors died for! About Obamas internet army, are they truly organized? Is there a chain of command, a center that dispatches “squads” to attack?
I think they are nothing more than a loosely formed mob, there may be some groups with key connections and possibly some very real connections to Chinese hackers.
If that is the case and I am sure its not too hard to trace it then its a case of treason.
Treason also involves collaborators, and I think its still punishable by death, no parole, no life sentence.
You all seem to be missing the much larger point in the Donofrio case.
Obama went to school in Indonesia due to his adoption by his mothers’ 2nd husband. Any claim to being a Natural born citizen goes out the window - the most he could claim after this event is as a Naturalized citizen.
Clearly a fraud that Obama was completely aware he was perpetuating!!!
I agree that this is an issue worth going after ... my question is, what happens if the Magic Mulatto is declared to be a non-citizen? Bush and Cheney are out as of Jan 20 because of Constitutional decree. Does that put Piglosi in the seat? Do we have a special election? The Constitution says that we must hold elections periodically by stating the terms of the office holders. It does not say we cannot hold elections more frequently or conduct a special election. Also, if any new rules passed in the November election (photo ID requirements, etc), do they apply in any special election? That could impact voter turnout. So many questions ...

The money behind 0bomber is immense, and, I am convinced much of it is illegal in itself. Someone or someones knows this story. No one is even saying ‘boo’ about it or about Grandma Toot’s death the night before the election—or the lack of the 0bomber’s attendance at a funeral. Nada. Zilch. Not even bad taste or poor timing.
I haven’t been able to find it, but I saw a news piece of a 30ish British imam demonstrating in a street in Britain somewhere, with a camera angle using a store as a backdrop. He was taller than the cameraman, and came at the camera from around to the left, veering to the right. He spoke to the news reporter in English, pointing his finger and screaming, “You’ll see! We’re going to turn the White House into the black house. We’re going to....” And then with a cue from someone behind the camera, he quit talking, spun around, and rejoined the protest. I saw that news footage a couple of times that day, and this was several years ago. I remember it because it struck a nerve in me at THAT time, as though the man knew something.
I have never seen that footage again and cannot find it anywhere. People here on FR have tried to help, and there’s been some great stuff to watch, but I haven’t found it. At all. It’s like the article from Ijaz in which he spoke of briefing both Hillary and Bill together about Bin Laden. That’s gone, too, even in the Internet archive. Amazing.
It’s not the color or his skin or the content of 0bomber’s character that has been elected........It’s the power and money behind him. ‘All’ that stands in the way is the Constitution of the US. The dem are complicit in their corruption, willingness to steal the election for POTUS and state races all across this country, and people say NOTHING. I don’t have sons of an age to join the military; I am glad about that now—and furious that my countrymen have ushered in this realization. When someone says that ‘God is in control’ of things, while true, I, we, live here.
There is cause and effect, yes. But, there is also truth, and, consequences, even on a spiritual plane. God help us, please, and let truth will out. The truth of the next presidency BEGINS with the Free Choice Act, the butchering of the unborn/almost born/left to die after refusing to not be murdered. And that’s just after 1/20/2009 if the situation persists.

I have wrestled with this myself here on FR. But, we are each going to have to ask ourselves if we really want to comply and get down on our knees with a gun to our heads or our hands clasped in prayer. We all have to sleep sometime, and we’ve been blessed here in the US for a VEFY long time. Remember 58,000 US soldiers died in Viet Nam. At Gettysburg, Antietam, the Wilderness, thousands died in ONE day. At Normandy, at Chosun, how many in ONE day. And they died for us. Are we so squeamish that we turn silent rather than confront evil, or, fight back? Do we really think that if we don’t fight, the other guy won’t kill us?
Someone told me from experience that if the other guy KNOWS you aren’t afraid of his threats to kill you and get past your own fear, you turn the tables right then and there. The man that told me has reason to know.

His mother was American and that makes him an American. It doesn’t matter whether or not he was born on the moon. His linage is American and every child born to an American is ipso facto American.
