WASHINGTON (Thursday, April 10, 2008) – Sens. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) today introduced a resolution expressing the sense of the U.S. Senate that presidential candidate and current Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) is a ‘natural born Citizen,’ as specified in the Constitution and eligible to run for President.

I believe, if I remember correctly, Senator Obama voted YES on this (not PRESENT for once).
Miss Missouri, Claire McCaskill, has done everything short of having Obama’s baby to get a position in his cabinet once he's elected.

And, don't you think it was suspicious that a bunch of Dems planned a vote on the natural born citizen thing when it was TOTALLY UNNECCESSARY because it had already been proven in a court case that Senator McCain was eligible??? Extremely generous of them, wouldn't you say? ...hmmmm....something preemptive about the whole thing ,eh?
