I believe, if I remember correctly, Senator Obama voted YES on this (not PRESENT for once).
Miss Missouri, Claire McCaskill, has done everything short of having Obama’s baby to get a position in his cabinet once he's elected.

And, don't you think it was suspicious that a bunch of Dems planned a vote on the natural born citizen thing when it was TOTALLY UNNECCESSARY because it had already been proven in a court case that Senator McCain was eligible??? Extremely generous of them, wouldn't you say? ...hmmmm....something preemptive about the whole thing ,eh?

The Senate took this action in response to a report published by the New York Times questioning McCain's eligibility to run for President.

Actual lawsuits have been filed regarding Obama's eligibility, yet the Senate hasn't taken a similar action vis a vis The One. Curious.
