The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Wouldn’t then proof of his birth location be based on the signing doctor’s place of practice and hospital?
Unless he truly is the messiah, I doubt Kenyan Drs or midwife would have traveled from Kenya to Hawaii for assisting the birth.

There may be a few riots, but so be it. They would be the folks who riot over upsetting results of a football game! Those who are ready to riot over most anything. Venture to guess it would be only in a few major cities that deal with riots on a regular basis. Believe most Americans would be angry that they were so royally lied to by Obama if it turns out he does not meet the most basic of constitutional requirements.
Amazing that no one in Hawaii remembers The One being born to a white, single, underage girl. How many black people were even in Hawaii in the early 60’s? Obama would have stuck out a little. You would think people would be coming out of the woodwork with their I was there when The One was born stories. It was only 47 years ago, not 147 years ago!
Can you imagine how many reporters would be in Hawaii to cover the story? The Enquirer can’t even break this story -haha. No one exists in Hawaii that witnessed the One’s birth.
As far as I can surmise when Ann was going to the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1960 she was paying non resident fees for tuition, but going to the University of Washington she would have qualified for in state tuition. I have often questioned where all the money came from as Madelyn wasn’t named Manager of the Escrow Dept at Bankoh until 1962 and Stanley was still just a furniture salesman. Jr spent summer vacations and Christmases with his mother in Indonesia not to mention going to a private, elite school. He also managed to take his trip to Pakistan in 1981 and as he “said” he paid for his student loans for one year at Oxy and 2 years at Columbia with one job which paid $15,000/yr and another which paid less than $10,000/yr. He had a full scholarship at Oxy for the first year but I doubt that extended to his second year considering he did not apply himself the first year there! Scholarships are dependent upon maintaining certain grades.

Personally, I don't think there would be riots, because I suspect a lot of black people would feel very betrayed and used by Obama. In fact, even a lot of the average white liberals might feel that they had been used. I think it would also put the nail in the coffin of the press, since these were the people who could have asked the questions in time to prevent this from happening.
I'm not talking about the radical loonies of any color, who will of course insist that it doesn't matter, and what's a major lie among friends? But I don't think radical loonies are the majority of his voters: the majority were people who voted either on the basis of color, or because they wanted to be part of the feel-good moment which Obama was portrayed as representing from the very start.
That said, I think this has zero chance of going anywhere. I believe the courts suspect, as any logical person would, that he has something to hide, and they don't want to deal with the consequences. It is definitely a constitutional crisis if he is revealed not to be qualified, and what court wants that? So they will just keep protecting him and preventing him from ever having to reveal it.
That goes along with his arrogance to say to David Mendell that he didn’t understand why Mendell would need to interview him since all anyone needed to know about him was in his two books! Mendell is the journalist who wrote: “Obama, from Promise to Power” and is the only journalist who ever interviewed Madelyn Dunham, albeit a tightly controlled 30 minute interview back in 2004 after Jr’s speech at the Dem Convention! We can now see that word alone is not good enough!
As I said, I’ll wait for the actual hearings, responses to legal brief filings and trials to unfold.

No one is talking! However thinking back to the one baby picture of Jr which has now been released I would date him as 9 months old. Babies today are much more developmently advanced than they were in the 60’s. In the photo Jr is holding his head up which was common in a 9 month old. There are no reports of an infant until Ann appears on Mercer Island. There is no testimony from anyone who was in the “Russian” language class with Sr and Ann. Her pregnancy and birth are complete blanks! Another thing is that hospitalization for birth in 1961 averaged 5.3 days, meaning that the registration happened even before Ann’s discharge from the hospital!

On another thread it was mentioned that a lot of information can be gained through the City DIrectory. Most city libraries have back copies and are willing to do the research for a small fee.
Obama was born 8/4/1961. My bet is that his mother was off from school in August since it would be summer vacation and she went to Kenya to have the baby when school ended, probably around June of 1961. She may not have even looked pregnant at the time she left.
I hope you are wrong and that our Constitution will be upheld! I have to trust in the most honorable Justices like Justice Thomas Justice Alito, and Chief Justice Roberts to do exactly that! I just don't want to believe they would not demand that Obama produce the documents necessary to prove he does meet all the constitutional requirements. After all, the burden of proof rests with Obama and no one else!

Donofrio's case is that to be natural born you have to have two citizen parents AND be born in the US. Therefore neither Obama nor McCain nor Calero (socialist party candidate?) are eligible for the Presidency.
He says there is a long history of law supporting this contention, although I believe it is unlikely to apply to McCain, specifically because of the military aspect of it. The only exception seems to be the Naturalization Act of 1790, which made almost anyone born in America (I think) natural born, but which was repealed and replaced with the Naturalization Act of 1795, just five years later, which made them citizens only, but not natural born.
He also points to the fourteenth amendment, section 1, which reads:
Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.where it states who is a citizen, NOT who is a natural born citizen, although it would have been a simple matter to insert the words "natural born" if that had been the intent.
Therefore, Donofrio appears on solid legal ground, at least until we hear the counterargument.
I believe this is why the clerk of the Supreme Court has been behaving in such an odd, possibly illegal, manner regarding Donofrio's suit, refusing to pass on Donofrio's filing to the appropriate justices. The powers that be don't want the Supreme Court to make a decision and somehow they've gotten a hold on the clerk.
Donofrio doesn't have a standing problem, as Berg does, because the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, whose decision he is appealing, has already conceded he has standing. Thus, if the Supreme Court looks at the case and rules in Donofrios favor, Obama will lose New Jersey's electoral votes (I am not sure here) and Obama will be exposed to the whole world in a way that even the MSM will not be able to cover up.
The reason McCain would be excepted has to do with the origin of the natural born requirement in the concept of "undivided loyalty to the King". I believe there are cases going back in English law where this question was ruled on and it was decided that it would be ridiculous for the children of military stationed abroad not to be considered of "undivided loyalty". It won't make McCain President, but at least it means he's eligible.

I already did, and the dictionary mentioned nothing about Hillary Clinton. So again: what, pray tell, is a “Hillary Clinton operative”, and precisely how do you distinguish that from someone who supported Hillary Clinton and doesn’t want to see husseinobama trash our Constitution by entering a high political office for which he might very well be ineligibile?

You are right about the fact that she may not have even looked pregnant at the time she left. Back in the late 50’s early 60’s the “shift” dresses were in. I remember them well and sure put them to use! They nicely covered excess weight and I sure needed to back then at 155lbs! (Luckily from ‘68 on I managed to drop to my normal weight of 115! :)
By way of all of the recent digging into the birth announcement address; the thought occurred to me that even if the Dunhams are not the owners of record, it doesn't prove that they didn't live there. They could have been renters, or perhaps it was only Ann and BHO SR, renting the place, or a portion of the home. Maybe, someone gave them a break and graciously lent them a portion of the home.
The fact that it's an upscale neighborhood, does raise some question as to the veracity of the announcement, noting the subject address as their residency, due to the occupations and corresponding salaries of all of the actors.
I believe that the property records should be physically viewed to settle any doubt as to ownership of the property in 1961.
