Open Letter to Warren Buffett
Now I dont normally post and I have no idea how to send a letter to Warren Buffett the billionaire yet its still a free country I hope.
We clearly know that President elect Obama has eyes on the wealthiest peoples money so he can spread the wealth thus as he says, build the wealth from the bottom up. So we can expect major tax increases to help in his dream, which will put many small business owners in metal anguish.
You are big supporter of the Democrat Party and the new President, which is admirable. You being one with a big heart toward many good causes which I know that makes you one to hear me out on what you could do to help fulfill the Democrat Party of equal and just nation.
I suggest that you sir put your billions to work for the whole by offering to buy out at fair market value all small business owners who feel that they will be unable to continue with business because of tax or regulative conditions that removes the incentive to do business. Secondly you maintain and enhance the working conditions of each of those businesses thus keeping them productive building the wealth of the country so your President and mine will have the money to build from the bottom up! Think of it has saving government and building your fortunes plus Democratic Party! Hand in hand bring our country to new levels of economic power, what a life! I would be even willing help donate for a bronze statue of you and ask that it could be placed on the capital lawn reminding people of the great power of capitalism and bureaucracy.
Last point, Mr. Buffett if you implemented this plan it would allow the Democratic Party and our president elect not to worry about small business, for small business owners would have a privately funded bailout program, Wow Now We Are Going Places!
Great idea. Or, he could also offer to carry the mortgages of those who are about to lose their homes. Surely, someone with such a big heart would be willing to do that, after all, how much money does one man need? As a matter of fact, George Soros and Bill Gates should join him.
See, now, this is the kind of thing that makes us look like thoughless clods. Buffet should not do that. He should give his billions, all of them, to the US treasury because they will know the best way to allocate things. If Buffet buying out people just because they want to sell, he will doubtless put cash in some arenas where it won't reach peak efficiency.
BZZT! Wrong answer. Obama doesn't want to increase taxes on WEALTH, he wants to increase taxes on income. His intent is to destroy the middle class so that he and his rich buddies can live like kings in our new socialist state with no competition from the riff-raff.
You are wrong. The "wealthiest people" pay no taxes on their wealth and they support Obama.
The Federal Government does not tax WEALTH. It taxes EARNINGS.
So, Warren Buffet is all for increasing income taxes on the EARNINGS of the "rich" two income family earning $100,000 per year or the small business owner putting in 70 hour weeks so that everybody forgets that his wealth in billions and Theresa Heinz's and John Kerry's $500 million wealth is not taxed at all each year.
Warren Buffet does not care about your letter about being fair. He wants YOU taxed so that his billions WON'T get taxed.

Warren,
Go to hell. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Me
Dianna has it right! The new taxes (income taxes, FICA & medicare w/o limits, etc.) are all taxes on wages, not wealth. The Dem party today is the party of the wealthy, looking to insure that the middle class pays an ever increasing percentage of their wages to the government. Buffett, Gates, etc. are well aware of this and support the Dems as it is to their benefit.
here’s my letter
dear sir
I am writing to you today wondering why you have not given all your money since you think spreading the wealth is a good thing other wise if you didn’t you would have not helped obama t get elected.
Also how much did you give to the nearest million in illegal money or in prepaid credit cards ?
I trust you will not be having any off shore tax free accounts either.
Thanks now pay off my car as I will be quitting my job so you can look after me

Warren Buffett should also refuse to employ any accountants or tax attorneys to assist him in the preparation of his federal income taxes. He should pay the maximum federal tax on all of his income and on the income of all of his companies. Otherwise, he’s just another mega-rich hypocrite.
Yer wasting JimRob’s bandwidth with this. Within a month after the Obamessiah announced that he didn’t believe that he paid enough in taxes (I don’t believe he does, either), Warren Buffett said the same thing. Should tell ya everything you ought to know about Warren Buffett.
I don't see how tax increases puts small business owners in metal anguish---explain.
I hope Obama taxes you at 95% this year retroactivly.
I'm sure he feels our pain.
Dumbest vanity yet.

Google is no longer my friend. The CEO of Google is on Obama’s economic transition team along with Warren Buffett.
Be sure that you understand that while Warren Buffett supports the Dems, one reason he does so is because he can make big money from their governing.
Warren Buffett is a great believer in the death tax because his very profitable companies sell insurance products that help those hit hard by death taxes avoid as much of that tax as is possible.
Warren Buffett is like the country club republicans, as long as they can buy Senators, Congressmen, or a President to protect and enhance their wealth, they are very apolitical.
