I’d love for this to be some kind of real criminal violation, but I think it’s too much of a grey area. For example, to say that the President-Elect using the seal is “conveying... a false impression or sponsorship or approval by the Government of the United States” is not going to stick. After all, he may not represent the government at this moment, but in under 3 months he most assuredly will :(

Better yet, I’m wondering if he is going to continue to use his Obama logo on all official correspondence and the whitehouse.gov website.
This campaign is about marketing. They are branding him as POTUS already. This campaign is as close to a pure marketing campaign as I have ever seen.

It is close, but it doesn’t include the cluster of 13 stars above the eagle on the official seal. Notheless, it still demonstrates his obvious and abnormal need to - as the not-so-reverend Jacka$$ used to drone - “be somebody” and to let everyone know it!
