We have lost ruoflaw/Paulette Hoelscher to cancer. She passed away September 17, 2008. Paulette was 57. She fought to live for a year. She loved the history threads and was a regular on the Terry Schiavo Dailies until Terry's death. She leaves behind a husband, son, 3 grandchildren. a brother and a sister.

I don’t want to be flippant (we buried my Mother-in-law last week) but I imagine both will still get to “cast” a vote for Obama in November, thanks to ACORN.

I knew Paulette in real life and I had no idea that she was also ruoflaw. (Paulette and I worked at the same place, but not at the same time.)
I just learned of her death about a week ago.
May she rest in God’s peace. Prayers for and condolences to Paulette’s family and friends.

We both worked as dispatchers at the same small town PD.
I never made the “law” connection with her nick. I followed the Terri Schiavo threads (and still mourn her manner of death and her forced passing). Through it all, I’m surprised that I never I never read ruoflaw’s about page.
