If Obama wins then we have effectively turned control of our national defenses over to Code Pink. Our national treasury over to the Chicago mob. Our justice department to the Rainbow Coalition. Control of our elections to ACORN. Our national ministry of propaganda to HuffingtonPost, DailyKos and MoveOn (which admittedly would be an improvement over CNN/ABC/NBC/CBS/NYT/WP/AP, et al). The IRS to Charlie Rangel. Banking/Finance to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. Housing to Tony Rezco. The new Global Warming Department to Al Gore. The State Department to Clinton, Inc. Education to NOW. The selection of our judges to the ACLU. Homeland Security to Bill Ayers.
Please expand and correct me where I'm wrong.

That’s pretty much it. The sad thing is that most of America doesn’t get it.

Free Republic will be near the top of his list of targets to take down.

Bingo, Jim. This is why we have to go full-court press against Obama, swallow our pride, and support McCain.
If any posters can't bring themselves to do that at this point, they should ban themselves from FR for the duration.
This is crunch time.
Bashing McCain at this point benefits no one but Obama. If folks are bashing McCain at this late stage, I must assume they're either 1.) stupid or 2.) an Obama supporting troll.
If some of us can't bring ourselves to vote for McCain, then vote for Sarah--if the ticket wins, she is the future of the party anyway.

I got a great local mailer bashing some Dem candidate with Code Pink all over it. Seems appropiate to do the same against Obama. He’s been their candidate for four years now.

I have posted my decision in General/Chat.
I thought about it and made my decision.
I will vote for McCain and any I influence will also.

We may expect to see China invade Taiwan, Pakistan engulfed by Taliban, al Qaeda and ISI, Iran, Syria, Lebanon attack Israel or vice versa, Russia teach Ukraine a lesson and who knows what else.
To: Jim Robinson
True. Unfortuantely McCain would hire the same guy for his global warming crusade and the treasury Dept and add Juan Hernandez as head of the INS.

I think it will appear to be a terrible repudiation of conservative values, but hopefully, if the worst occurs and Obama wins, the Republican party will finally be able to realign itself and promote real conservatives in the Ronald Reagan mold. If that doesn’t occur then I’m sad to say I think our country is doomed.
To: Jim Robinson
In two years, you won’t be able to find anyone who voted for Obama. Of course, by then it will be too late.
I can understand why people who don’t make much would default to the Dem candidate. What I absolutely cannot understand is why well educated, hardworking people who make good money are going to vote Dem. Let’s face it, our politics have become lifestyle politics for most. Those who are basically conservatives on economic matters will pull the lever for the most left, socialist candidate ever. Hate to say it, but they’ll get what they deserve. Unfortunately, the rest of us will get what we don’t.
