ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Calling him the true reformer in the presidential contest, members of Reform Party USA endorsed Sen. John McCain for president on Saturday.

Party Chairman Frank MacKay said representatives from 27 states voted to endorse McCain, the Republican nominee and Arizona senator. None voted for Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

"It's a good day for reform," MacKay told The Associated Press. "Whether (McCain) wins or loses, I believe we did the right thing and it gives independents the best chance out there to elect one of our own to the White House."

MacKay said the endorsement is a badge of honor for McCain.

MacKay, also head of New York's Independence Party, says the group considers Obama to be a traditional liberal Democrat.

Lol. Could you imagine the State of the Union address from President Ross Perot? He would bust out all of his charts and graphs.

Why? What did he do? I know he ran for President of the United States. Was he not over 35 or something? I don’t get it.

I realize there’s a lot of anger. If Bush Senior was a real conservative, there never would have been a Reform Party.

And, if Perot hadn’t endorsed GW Bush in 2000, Buchanan would have handed Gore the White House. It was that close.

Perot paid big bucks to set up this party. So why wouldn’t there be people still in this party. GOOD ANOTHER GREAT ENDORSEMENT.

The left have George Soros, we have Ross Perot. Hopefully, Perot works behind the scenes as much as Soros.

Don't blame Buchanan for possibly allowing Gore to win.

Perot is a nanny stater and wants more Gov’t involved in Business, more gun control, higher taxes on oil, and higher taxes in general.

So it is very fitting that Perot supporters would support McCain.

Well if this were 1992, I’d love that 19% or so of idiots. But, now, how many are they, 22 or 23 total?
