He is 11 years old and last month I came back hoome to find him panting and not being able to get up.
I took him to the vets and had two choices surgery or put him down
I did the surgery and they found blood was filling up in his stomach as he had a growth on his spleen.
they took his spllen out but sadly he still has cancer and was told he has a month to live , that was just over a month ago

In fact, many in my neighborhood claim that he was.
King was the only cat we had that we would let out at night. He'd roam around and he'd come back every morning. The other cats we've had only we out in the backyard and only during daylight hours. (And the houses were attached on both sides.)
Anyway, King disappeared for about a week or so one time. We thought he was lost, or something had happened to him. And then one morning, there he was at the front door, banging his head against the diamond-shaped window as he usually did.
Some months later, Shamus with Burt Reynolds comes the theaters. People on my block will tell you. That wasn't Morris. That was King of the Jungle. (They did filming in my neighborhood in Brooklyn, not to far from where I lived at the time.)
I don’t have a pic handy, but a friend was telling me about her adventures moving to a new house & it reminded me of a cat my sister had - a cream male persian called Baby. She would play with him by balling up cellophane wrappers from her cigarettes & toss them. Baby would run them around for awhile & then they’d vanish. She never found them to throw them away. Finally she had to move & started the usual packing routine, pulling things out & putting in piles for boxes. After working for awhile she walked out in her hallway to find a pile of cellophane. Baby was preparing his wrappers for packing. Of course, no one believed the story until...she had to move a second time & another sister came over to help. After working for awhile they both came out of a room to find a pile of cellophane wrappers - ready for packing. He was a very funny looking cat. The other sister called him ‘Cuphead.’ :-)
