This video should shake you to your core. Obama supporters in Missouri are blatantly announcing that law enforcement will be used to prosecute you if you are part of campaign ads that tell, in their opinion, "lies" about Barack Obama.
And we thought the Clinton machine was bad? This is frightening. When will the lies be prosecuted about Palin, McCain, and Limbaugh? The answer is, they won't. This is how a free republic is taken down. When will freerepublic be taken down?

I live in Missouri, and three times in one evening, I was called by the Obama supporters, wanting funds. “Can’t you afford just $25.00”, they asked.
This is worse than I thought. The RNC needs to take legal action against these public officials and McCain needs to make a big stink about it.
Back in July, the Obama campaign said it opposed the “Fairness Doctrine”. We can take Obama at his word. / Sarcasm.

I’ve said it so many times before. Will civil liberties advocates who scream about Bush being tough on terrorists say a word about abuses by an 0bama admin.? I think not.
People scoff when I say I hope we still have free speech and unfettered elections. But when you look at the attitudes of the left, you have to take this scary stuff seriously.

This news was posted last night, but I have not seen anyone yet explain how the state of Missouri can have a criminal libel law that can be prosecuted. If someone can cite or summarize the law, I would like to analyze it. My guess is that any such law would be thrown out, and in fact, now might be a good time to sue those bastards who threatened to do this in order to get the law declared unconstitutional.

It’s intimidation, plain & simple. I don’t think they believe they can make it stick, but they are counting on people being intimidated into silence.
You can guarantee that they define a “lie about 0bama” as anything negative about him.
I believe they plan to use an “ethics in government” law to prosecute.
