Im surprised. Usually in cases like this, Obama has his cult followers inundate the offending station with irate, semi-coherent phone calls, like they did recently to try to knock hatemongering smear merchant David Freddoso off the air for the crime of committing journalism critical of The One. For whatever reason theyve decided that wont work here, so theyre opting for Plan B. Straight out of the Democratic handbook Harry Reid used to threaten ABCs broadcast license for showing the Path to 9/11, heres Obama lawyer Robert Bauer warning station managers not to air the NRAs new anti-Obama Hunter ad if they want to stay in the FCCs good graces.

EVERYONE, PLEASE WRITE AN EDITORIAL TO YOUR LOCAL PAPERS ABOUT THIS. It is time we blitz the local papers with the truth instead of the lies that most papers publish.
The ad plays like clockwork in these parts, too. Former redskins football player, as I recall the ad, head, or part of some “hunting” organization, a group that is anti-gun. That bit about both candidates “protecting our right to own guns” is probably the idea that they’re trying to get across as the anti-gun Gore, as well as the idiot Kerry lost big in the area though they won the state, albeit, by a margin that narrowed...and in ‘08?...
Straight out of the playbook,baby.
Anyone have a link to the ad???
The NRA should take the guy to the woodshed and sue his a$$ to boot !
Yep...slanderous ba$tards,not to mention treasonous.
They shoot lawyers don’t they?
Never mind... Its at the link for hotair.
Yep. Stations in "blue zones" aren't likely to run the NRA ads, while those out in the bitter, clingy hinterlands might just invite such a lawsuit. They have attorneys too, you know.
Attaboy, Barack... stirring up the pro-gun crowd just weeks before the election. If they weren't thrilled about McCain, you've given them yet another reason to get out and vote *against* you.
Obamas top ten responses to any situation if he becomes President:

I want that on a shirt.
What the lawyer did has to be illegal. He has threatened retaliation — unequal treatment by a government agency obligated to provide equal treatment — to those who perform legal actions. Equal protection, hah! Where is Judidial Watch?
It makes for good political humor.
The NRA should make this letter the subject of their next ad, and hunters/gun owners in areas served by stations that pull or refuse to run this ad should make known that they will not watch those stations.
Heh. Welcome to the "bigtime" mr. bauer. We have a few lawyers of our own. Support the NRA folks, this is what we do......we live for these marxists to come scurrying out every election.
“...A knock on the door at 3:00 am and a bullet behind the ear...”
That assumes that one can’t shoot back...and that one would meekly submit to it...and that it won’t be expensive for them...or that they won’t be met with a GLEEFULLY launched storm of copperjacketed lead...
Call it “Payback” for 200 million innocent dead victims...
