My guess is those comments wouldn't play all that well in Blacksburg. There's enough of an inferiority complex down there when it comes to UVA.

Actually, I always thought that Tim Russert was one of the most objective political talk show hosts and quite fair. Yes, sometimes he did show his true self, but it was very seldom. He did try hard to remain fair across the board, though.

I wonder, if he were still alive, how he’d go about interviewing Sarah Palin. I think he would not be the ‘horror show’ that Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric have been.

The entertainment/news industry is rampant with nepotism. Seems at least half of them are the offspring of people already in the business. Its not surprising to see fat Luke getting a job due to his father’s position. Whatever happened to making it on your own?
