Hi AZa, hope all is well FRiend.
Very fun thread. This place is so great and I am very thankful to JimRob and the techie JohnRob for creating and maintaining a conservative fraternity.
Sorry, the question...very easy:
Buckhead...Rather.
November 27th 2000 about 8pm west coast time to be exact. I lurked here for over 5 years before I made my first reply on a thread.
I thank the Robinson's, I thank my fellow Freepers.
And especially thank you Lord for bringing FR into my life.
Thank you, Sir Knight, for being there for your fellow Kentukians and for all of us if we need you! You are, as
usual, my hero!
Great report! Sorry your pickup transmission. I hope it’s
fixed now!

God bless you, your brave and selfless husband, and your entire family.
Words cannot express the appreciation felt.
Godspeed and God Bless.
Too bad she dont listen to me ;)
Fabulous report, Sarge.....but then I would expect nothing less. You are excellent at giving us verbal pictures of your “adventures”. Thanks!! And thanks to WakeUpAndVote for letting us know of your mission. And poor Clifford...hasn’t he done this once before? I am so glad you had AAA to help you get home. I don’t go anywhere without my AAA.
Evening Connie Hugs.
Seems alot of folks found FR the same way! Thanks for adding to the thread InMemoriam!
Evening Connie Hugs.
Welcome to the Canteen, ryan...talk radio was my path too.
When I first went on the internet, it was because a son had moved out and left his computer for me to use. It was when the Monica scandal first came about (Feb.— March??) and I was looking for news on it. Somehow, I found Drudge (don’t ask me how I did as I really didn’t know what I was doing). The word Whitewater caught my attention, and I clicked on it and that was the beginning.
I remember reading just a few posts on FR, and called down to my husband in the den, a half flight down from the room I was in. I said “You should see what I just found!! A place where people think the same as we do!!!” It was an instant addiction!
I saw that you had to register to post, but since it wasn’t my computer, I didn’t think I could do it. Shows you just how little I knew about the internet and computers! Several months later, I upgraded from a Windows.3 (or whatever it was) to a newer computer and since it was now MY computer, I registered. I wish I had realized that I could have registered when I first found FR. I would have had a real neat starting date!!
When I finally made my first post, I was warmly welcomed and because I was a newbie, I was told that I had to go get the coffee!! LOL! It has been a wonderful ride ever since!
Love this place!
We’ll never forget Godzilla and how he keeps things shook
up in Japan and how the Chinese take care of keeping it
from getting too crowded there! :D
Thanks for you, news diva!
Hugs and many prayers.
I’m deeply sorry for your loss.
Thank you and him for my freedom.
Hope you found a name you like now....great quotes on your home page!
