Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner has just released a survey that indicates voters perceive Republicans once again as far and away better on national security issues than Democrats.
Forty nine percent of those surveyed thought....
...Republicans were better on national security while 35% thought Democrats better. When it came to combating terrorism, 48% thought Republicans superior to Democrats while 33% gave Democrats the advantage.
This could blossom into a serious problem for the Obama-Biden ticket and down-ballot races -- or opportunity for Republicans -- by Nov. 4.
The Greenberg poll, done for the think tank Third Way, echoes a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll which found a large lead for Republican McCain over his Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama, with McCain holding a 10 point lead over Obama on the question: who would be better on the Iraq war, a 25 point lead on the handling of international crises and a 28 point lead on being better able to handle terrorism.

Those are very good numbers for this moment in time...
Great news. The Democrats are gonna get more and more shill and these polls keep showing a significant shift.
Now Republicans need to also focus on highlighting their difference from the Democrats on the economy and energy policies.

Problem is, it is not mere perception, it is fact, Obama and the Democrats have done everything in their power to try and cripple and defeat...ourselves...with two wars ongoing.
From the early 07 “This war is lost” or “The Surge will not work” to just two days ago Obama saying “ I would still not vote in favor of the Surge”.
This is one of the three* reasons I supported a generally unpalatable John McCain, he said he’d rather lose an election then lose a war, I’d rather vote for a guy I disagree with and win the war(s) then allow my worldview to keep that from happening.
(The other three were RTKBA, Earmarks, taxes add in Sarah Palin at #4..loves me some Palin)
McCain had a great line the other night, something to the effect of, "I hate war. I have experienced it and seen it up close." That is reassuring. McCain will be serious and cautious about putting our boys in harm's way, yet he is not afraid to be a warrior when necessary.
Wow. Flattest material ever by Triumph. Could tell his heart wasn’t in it.
I give McCain credit for being right on the Surge, which was a huge decision and shows McCain’s good judgment on things military.
Did the poll specify which nation?
The basic position/attitude difference between most Obama voters & most John/Sarah voters rests on things that are simple in concept, yet terrifically profound in its effects/implications for our future wellbeing: God Guns Guts
Different ideas that are bumper sticker-simple.
Yeah, and his fur looked fake too.
So, you did not like the line on Oberman and Matthews..
I did notice the GOPers looking the guy holding the puppet in the eye. It's as if Smigel didn't know what to do. The best moments of comedy for Triumph is when the idiot celebrities treat the puppet as a person and pay Smigel no attention.
JMO, though.
Other Marxist idiots!
Perhaps the question to voters should be...One of our major cities has just been nuked by Iran who do you want in charge?
