Now on... Obama has no word about the Dems' vomitous personal attacks against Palin, of course... reporter asks, "How is being a community organizer relevant to being President?" Obama... "They never mention my time in the state legislature (LOL!) or my time in the Senate (what time? He's never been there)"... reporter: "Why is your campaign going after Palin personally?" ... Obama: "She's only been in this for four days... we've been in this for 18 months... I don't think her ideas are any different than the failed McCain ideas... I'm the best person to bring the change we want on energy and health care and the economy..." Reporter: "With so many reporters attacking Palin, what should you do now?" Obama: "They have no agenda to run on... no idea how to make the lives of Americans better... thjey spent their time extolling McCain's biography..." Obama: "I've been called worse things on the basketball court... we need to provide good jobs at good wages (PAGING MICHAEL DUKAKIS...)... (more empty rhetoric)... clearly angry at reporters for asking real questions... ends interview.
Finally, Finally, FINALLY last night somebody challenged Obama’s ‘community organizer’ claim. I have been hearing over and over from the MSM, Obama, and Ms. Obama, that Obama should be President because he was a ‘community organizer’, like that was tantamount to being the Pope. It was and is sickening and I am so glad that Rudy and Sarah picked that apart.
He is such a wimp. Politics is a blood sport - and he hasn’t got the courage to fight back himself. He lets the media do it.
His community organizing was also done with ACORN - a notoriously socialist outfit.
Mr. Obama must be scared stiff now. He thought the rest of the campaign was going to be a walk in the park - until Sarah Palin.
Come on, now. It took a lot of courage to vote “present”. </disgusted sarcasm>
I posted on another thread that IMO the Obama is so sensitive to criticism that someone could question his style of shoe and he’d get upset and concerened over it.
He’d not used to being questioned and doesn’t know how to deal with it.
He can be derailed, moved off track, and made to lose focus if not possibly provoked into a tirade by quesions and criticism.
130 times he voted “present.”
Rudy sure did, highlighting Barry Hussein's 137 'present' votes....
I am listening to Hannity now playing this and cannot quit laughing.
We need one of those violins for Obama’s whine! Rudy and Gov Palin got in Obama’s head! It is AWESOME.
Cannot believe Obama went after Hannity by name! What a whiney little man!
What a punk.
Alaska’s governor really ripped O’Bammy’s arse last night and the Chosen One isn’t used to such rude handling.
(And she’s going to eat Biden’s lunch in debate ....)
More details!
Will they show this again?
For one thing, they did mention his time in the State legislature all those votes as PRESENT.
LOL! Rudy got him good. “When I was Mayor, I didn't know about that vote thing “PRESENT”!” A couple of weeks ago, the boastful Messiah Obama said "They (republicans) dont know who they're messing with. They bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun." Well, last night Governor Sarah Palin brought a hockey stick and she knocked the puck out of him.
Imagine how this guy will melt down if he's ever exposed to real pressure.
Obama can thank his pals in the media. I don’t think Sarah would have been as tough on him if they hadn’t attacked her so viciously. She had to show the country what she’s made of and it paid off big time.
RE: “This guy would have been a fabulous opening act for the late great Sam Kinison.
Sam could have done an entire act on just a few Obama remarks. And Sarah Palins jibes wouldnt compare to the damage done by Kinson. Figurative Obama body parts would all over the floor after savaging that Kinison would have performed on this pompous poseur.”
WOW! Yes, Sam Kinison!!! I LOVED Sam Kinison — I was a huge fan — such a tragedy, his untimely death in that auto accident — thanks for reminding me about him — he was unique and an acquired taste, I suppose, but I really got a kick out of his humor.
Voting “present” could mean that he was being paired with another state senator of a particular issue.
However, “pairing,” at least in my experience, was done if you were NOT present in the chamber and neither was the colleague with whom you were being paired who was on the other side of the issue.
During my time working in a state senate, voting “present” was akin to “abstain.”
The replies in this thread are all spot on.
dang, you freepers are sharp and smart. i take my hat off to you.
