A Houston-bound British Airways plane was forced to land at OHare International Airport Sunday afternoon after the pilot reported a situation onboard. The landing prompted a Hazardous Materials response by the Chicago Fire Department.
An EMS Plan 1 and Level 1 HazMat was called on an OHare runway at 2 p.m. as an electrical precautionary measure, according to Fire Media Affairs Cmdr. Will Knight, who said all passengers from the plane were cleared and there were no injuries.
British Airways Flight #195, which originated in London and was headed to Houston, was diverted to OHare after the pilot reported a situation onboard, according to Dept. of Aviation spokesman Gregg Cunningham.

Weathermen: Home-grown US radicals
BBC ^ | 5 October 2008 | Joe Boyle

Sarah Palin has accused presidential candidate Barack Obama of “palling around” with terrorists - referring to his acquaintance with a former member of the Weather Underground. So who were the Weather Underground?
Embroiled in an unpopular war in Vietnam, with many of the grievances of the civil-rights movement still unanswered, the US government was facing widespread protests in the late 1960s.
Often those who rebelled were rich in idealism but unable or unwilling to take concrete action.
On 8 October 1969, all that changed. A newly-formed group of left-wing extremists, dubbed the Weathermen, went on the rampage in a well-planned protest in Chicago - the so-called Days of Rage riots.
A police station in the city was bombed, and protesters engaged police in combat on the streets. More than 250 of the rioters were arrested, and the FBI began to follow the movements of the Weathermen very closely.
They were a splinter-group from Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) - a product of the student radicalism endemic in college campuses in the late 1960s.
The group had recently published an article in the society’s newspaper rejecting peaceful protest in favour of communist revolution. The article signed off with the Bob Dylan lyric: “You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”
According to the FBI, several of their members had travelled to Cuba and North Vietnam during 1969.
‘Freaks are revolutionaries’
After the Chicago riots, with many of their members in jail, the group regrouped and rethought its tactics.
The group’s communiques still betrayed obvious links to the counter-culture of the 1960s.
In May 1970 they issued a statements entitled A Declaration of a State of War, which stated: “Freaks are revolutionaries and revolutionaries are freaks.

The UK Islamic group called Islam4UK has been holding lectures across the UK Midlands. Islam4UK is preaching for Muslims to bring violent jihad to the streets of the UK as their leader is the hate preaching exiled Omar Bakri Muhammad. One of the lectures was billed as Kufr Laws to be Extinct. The group was even so kind enough to lay out how a comparison chart showing the differences between the current UK law and the brutal laws that Islam will bring. This can be seen here.

“Possible Terrorist Nest Being Investigated in Brooklyn”
October 5, 2008
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Authorities busting a suspected ID thief in Brooklyn stumbled upon a possible terrorist nest full of al Qaeda news clippings, chemical manuals and weapons literature.
Cops made the disturbing find last week Thursday evening after a landlord found the photocopied IDs inside the apartment of a former tenant on Classon Avenue in Prospect Heights and dialed 311.
The tenant, Hisham Khaleel, 35, had been evicted.
Responding officers found 13 copied licenses, all of which appeared to belong to customers from the Vanderbilt YMCA on East 47th Street in Manhattan, where Khaleel worked briefly as an unarmed security guard.
They also found news clippings about al Qaeda, literature on chemical purchasing and processing, an owners manual for a Beretta handgun, a reference guide for modern airplanes, a video on rifle-shooting fundamentals and a snipers manual.
Cops also uncovered lab glassware catalogs and a book, Hostile Planet: The Essential Guide to Surviving Natural Disasters, Pandemics and Terrorist Attacks.”
