WASHINGTON - Rep. Barney Frank is among the first Democrats to publicly say Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s family background, including the pregnancy of her unwed teenage daughter, should be fair game for campaign discussion.
"They’re the ones that made an issue of her family," Frank, D-Mass., said Tuesday in a telephone interview with The Associated Press.

I think a lot of the anti-Palin stuff probably is being engineered and encouraged by militant gays. First of all, they’re jealous of women and particularly despise women with children (possibly because a lot of gays have very strange and conflicted relationships with their own mothers). Secondly, the notion of marriage and family is something that they’ve been trying to take over and redefine for years now, and they view somebody whose life is as normal as that of Sarah Palin as a direct challenge to their control of the issue.
Barney Frank, if you will all take a peek into the memory hole into which Dems drop their scandals, was the one who’s boy-toy was running a male hooker ring out of the basement of Frank’s DC townhouse. But among Dems, that’s all in good fun.
