I wonder why the guy didn't marry her as soon as he found out she was carrying his child.

1. We have no idea what the family conversations were/are

and

2. Her mom is the GOVERNOR...probably some fear factor going on there.

Isn't this the way the Obama got started? Not quite, his father was still married.

anyone that was going to vote mccain/palin will still vote mccain/palin

anyone that would change their vote because of this, wasn’t really as supporter anyway and probably wouldn’t vote mccain/palin

Here is the video: Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNzmly28Bmg

Obama: “If they [his own daughters] make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

Obama is evil—he will murder his own blood and flesh because babies ‘are a punishment’.

You’ve posted this three times now. I think we get it. Let me guess. “Your” candidate didn’t get picked, right?

McCain made the right choice. It ain’t broke so it don’t need fixin’.

Let’s talk about Obama’s Momma for a second....

She got pregnant by a black guy before her eighteenth birthday was forced to marry him (no records exist).

He already had a wife in Africa so the marriage (if there ever was one) was invalid and Obama is illegitimate.

He abandoned her and Obama at the first possible opportunity.

And yet we are attacking our candidate because she is going to insure that her daughter has a loving support mechanism in the next second family as well as the first.

I suppose that Michelle Obama will have to get an abortion siting the stress of the campaign to top this drama for Obama...

You got it.

It’s not Palin’s fault, but it is McCain’s poor decision making.

Actually, this is not a good thing. It is a statement that some of those familly values that Sarah is advancing could not even be passed along to her own kid.

Don't we all believe in ethics and moral standards that we are incapable of living? The scripture states that we've all dropped the ball when it comes to living a moral life. But that doesn't mean we don't strive to live in righteousness, nor does it mean we are failures because our sin is found out.

It is those who strive to enable wickedness and who justify evil that are the problem. Not those who have worked at being good but have succumbed to temptation.

Palin is one of US.

Human.

The Democrats would have taken her to a doctor for an abortion to protect political viability.

Can ANYONE see a chelsy clinton pregant conversation with Hillary? nope, the abortion would have been a forgone conclusion.

Who traditionally hosts a baby shower?

I was 17 not very long ago, and can relate to the young woman whose face seemed so forlorn in the news photos.
Control over her own destiny must seem like it’s been snatched away by her mother’s destiny. Private life, out the window. Just as she takes her first independent steps out of the nest, there’s a horde of reporters who will not go away for at least four years, possibly many more. And they’re not fans of hers.
She didn’t ask for this, and at 17 she must be overwhelmed.
On top of that, a baby on the way.
It must seem like the world just got whacked right out of orbit.

Bristol, I’m sorry that nearly half the country is made up of asses. Please know that the rest of us wish you all the best, and keep you in their prayers.

What would Obama do?

Well I'm sure he wouldn't 'punish' her with a baby!

At face value this will connect Palin to a significant segment of society that has this event happen in their families.

I agree.

The good news is that this pregnant daughter revelation appears to be helping to solidify the PUMA vote.

I agree. I think Palin should step down.

To step down because of this is to endorse Obama's view that a baby is a punishment.
