Suicide bombers kill 70 outside main Pakistan military complex
Two suicide bombers struck outside Pakistans main defence complex today, killing more than 70 people in the latest surge of militant violence facing the country's post-Musharraf ruling coalition.
The bombers struck simultaneously at two gates when hundreds of workers were leaving the facility in Wah garrison town, about 20 miles from capital Islamabad.
It was one of the biggest terrorist attacks targeting military installations as Pakistan forces stepped up their campaign against Islamic militants in northern border areas.
Tehrek-e-Taleban Pakistan, an outlawed militant group claimed responsibility for the attack, which was said to be in revenge for military airstrikes in Bajur, a militant stronghold near the Afghan border.

I’m pretty concerned about Pakistan these days. To me they seem way more dangerous than Iran right now.
Muzzie terrorists have also blown up about 50 people in Algeria in the last two days (30+ on Monday, and more yesterday), something that’s not getting a lot of reporting. They seem to be revving up again.
“They seem to be revving up again.”
Yes, but it seems somewhat like an infection that is in the process of being eliminated. Every so often there is a fever spike, but the trend is toward improvement and eradication of the infection. Having said that, I wonder where in Pakistan the nukes are housed, and if this military site is one of those nuke sites.
MUSLIM terrorists did this? Gee, that’s a surprise. /s
Look for one to happen right here in the good ol US of A in the weeks coming up to the election. The cyanide guy in Denver just got a little to careless IMHO.
Moslems
Moslems killing Moslems
Are the Moslemest people in the world
Well, it’s not improving in Algeria. One of the things they are very concerned about is that the Islamists there are bolder than they ever have been since the 1990s. This is because the focus moved away from them for awhile, but in the meantime, they’ve been building up and getting foreign help in doing so.
Pakistan is at a very delicate point right now, and I think we’d be fools to write this off.
I hope there won’t be any problem in Denver, but I am sure there are many people, ranging from the radical left to the muzzies, who want to create one.
I have family on DPD so I am particularly concerned. I think there’s a considerable amount of apprehension in Denver right now, although the police - as well as the Secret Service and the FBI - seem very well prepared. Despite the idiocy of Denver’s Dem mayor, I think the city is ready.
Think terrorist Muslims, ie terrorists who happpen to be Muslims.
The thinking that all Muslims re terrorists is wrong.
While all terrorists seem to be Muslim, not all Muslims are terrorists. For those who are blind to this fact, read all this thread carefully. It illustrtes my point very well.
I absolutely agree, and didn't mean to imply that there is no risk. We need to keep fighting, on a world-wide front, but I do believe we are making progress and winning. I am well-aware, however, that if we lose our will or focus we could definitely lose this battle.
