“phobia” refers to an irrational fear. I don’t fear homosexuals - I simply disapprove of their lifestyle. Pure and simple!

And I thought I was being rather generous. Come on, what kind of question is "gay people deserve what they get".? Beat up? venereal disease? Marriage? What? I couldn't answer that question on any side of the spectrum.

The saddest part about that incident was he was also a superior to me in the USAF.. I still have a scar between my knuckles where I knocked one of his front teeth out. Never heard anything about “attacking and NCO” though.. guess he knew that if he reported me.. it would cost him his career... never had any problem with him after that, thank God.

I’m at a non-homophobic 50. I have my opinions, but I always treat people and their property with respect.

I don’t obsess with gays; I just don’t care to have anything to do with them. They’re in a different world, a world generally antithetical to my values.
While I don’t think they should be persecuted, I do try to avoid anyone openly gay. The problem is, they perceive any kind of distance or avoidance as persecution. The “love me, love my dog” syndrome.
