ABC Radio news just announced Sen. John Edwards will admit to the affair with Rielle Hunter in an interview with the network, but insists the child is not his.

It’s crazy how he tries to soften the blow of all this news by saying:
1. He had the affair with her, but the baby isn’t his. So then that’s ok to have the extramarital affair because he’s not the father of an out of wedlock baby?
2. He had the affair with her, but says he doesn’t love her. So then that’s ok to have the extramarital affair if it’s all about lust and using somebody?
3. He had the affair with her, but says it happened when his wife’s cancer was in remission. So then that’s ok, because he wasn’t neglecting his sick wife to go be with this other woman?

Maybe now the MSM will pick up on the story of Obama’s questionable birth certificate and his country of birth. Someone should send all that info and links to the story writers at the National Enquirer who worked on the Edwards story (Alan Butterfield's name comes to mind -- he's a senior reporter there).

The media should be absolutely ashamed. They ignored this and tried to play it off as non-news, when if it were a Republican candidate, they’d be all over it. Wife with cancer? Affair?Yeah, we were treated to every gorey detail of Newt Gingrich's affair while his wife was terminal with cancer. I'm not suggesting that they should have gone that far in reporting the Edwards/Hunter affair. A simple acknowledgment that it was ongoing would have been sufficient.
