The moderators for the 2008 presidential and vice presidential debates have been announced and once again they all have one thing in common: they are all liberal hacks from the main stream media. This year's questioners are NBC's Tom Brokaw, CBS' Bob Schieffer and PBS' Jim Lehrer and Gwen Iffl.
Pathetic choices, again.

Balanced questioning, MSM style.
Senator McCain: You're old... very, very old. What do you plan on doing if you have a heart attack right here on stage?
Senator Obama: Same question. You are young, handsome and full of life, but Senator McCain is very, very old. What do you plan on doing if he has a heart attack right here on stage?

Why should this matter? Liberal moderators questioning liberal candidates. Perfect fit.

Why not Brit Hume?
That’s what I thought, or O’Reilly, Hannity, Rush, Michael Savage, etc. There are many conservative pundits they could choose. We don’t expect all the moderators to be conservatives, but at least one would be nice and a lot more fair than having all leftists.

This year's questioners are NBC's Tom Brokaw, CBS' Bob Schieffer and PBS' Jim Lehrer and Gwen Iffl. Why am I suddennly reminded of Shakespeare's three witches?
ACT I
SCENE I A deserted conference room.
First Witch: When shall we three meet again In network, cable, or in blog?
Second Witch: When the debates' done, When the election's lost and won.
Third Witch: That will be ere the set of some.
First Witch: Where the place?
Second Witch: Upon the stage.
Third Witch: There to meet with McCain.
First Witch: I come, Gweniffl!
Second Witch: Pelosi calls.[Exeunt]
MCCAIN ENTERS
Third Witch: Anon.
ALL: Fair is foul, and foul is fair: Hover through the fog and filthy air.

McCain can look at the list and tell them that unless two conservatives that he approves of are are substituted the debates are off.

Good choices. I would add Rush and JC Watts to the list.

Yep, because they will be given the questions well ahead of time to prepare.

Fitting. Four liberal moderators for two liberal candidates.
I’m sure America is going to love being inundated with the warm and fuzzy discussion of why global warming is a problem, and why we have to give tens of millions of illegal foreign national invaders the precious gift of American citizenship as a reward for their lawbreaking.
Yay!

The moderators are liberal, so what? Both candidates are also liberal.

McCain wanted 11 debates in town hall forum. He should demand them and not attend any of these liberal bbq’s.

IS there any reason that debates shouldn’t be moderated by an even number of candidates, with half chosen by each candidate to ask questions of the other? Even if it were possible to have a debate with impartial moderators, I would think having openly partisan moderators would be far more illuminating.
