Drawing the sharpest distinctions yet between himself and the man he hopes to replace, Sen. John McCain said Tuesday his presidency would focus on climate change issues, reducing federal spending, closing the Guantanamo Bay detention center and eliminating torture by the U.S. government. In a meeting with the Tribune-Review's editorial board, McCain, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, said "spending got out of control" under the Bush administration. He blamed Congress for pushing spending and the administration for failing to halt it.

I don't think the country can afford to leave itself unprotected from ME enemies - At least McCain recognizes that threat. 4 years is far too long to risk an Obamanation and a Dem Congress and a leftwing judiciary. The stakes are too high and no one really honestly cares about global warming.

Up until now, everytime his campaign has called begging for money, I've told them to try the Mavericks and Moderates. Now I can refer them to his constituency which you listed.

If you consider the above mentioned steps McCain would impose on our war, this would constitute a step backwards, and expose us to greater danger.

McCain would take us back to the Clinton era, 'don't ask, don't tell a terrorist' policies. His foreign policy creds are a joke.

As someone who takes New Jersey Transit into NYC on a daily basis, I can tell you that the only thing that might get me to vote for McCain is the thought that Obama would let the Jihadists loose in the USA and blow up my train.

I have instructed my wife not be like those WTC “Jersey Girls” and bash the US government but to get on TV anyway possible and call for swift and devastating retribution to avenge my death!

However, I would prefer to live. And thus, the only reason I may vote for McCain. As long as he doesn’t screw that up too.

I believe that national security is the #1 issue. McCain's statements indicate that our security will be at a greater risk because of his stated policy goals.

I understand your thinking, BUT I am afraid the price to be paid between the SCOTUS and our freedoms just to get a decent Repub back in the White House would be STAGGERING with the The Obamination.
