Bloggers are raising questions about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's qualifications to be U.S. president, because of the secrecy over his birth certificate and the requirement presidents be "natural-born" U.S. citizens.
Jim Geraghty, reporting on the Campaign Spot, cited the "unlikely" but still circulating rumor that Obama was born not within the United States, but elsewhere, possibly Kenya.

Now, had McCains mother been out and about in Panama, went into labor, and he was born in a Panamainian hospital instead of on the military base, he would be ineligible to run for President.

So, his mother being from Kansas, had Obama been born at an Antartic research facility, he would still be eligible? The answer is no.
You can't release what you don't have. Bet he was born off-shore.

If you are born overseas to a US citizen, you are yourself a natural born citizen. George Romney was born in Mexico to US citizens, and nobody questioned his qualifications when he ran for President in ‘68.
He is eligible since his Next-door-step-neighbor-in-law-uncle-on-his-mother’s-side was in the United States Navy and liberated Nazi Death Camps in World War II while on super secret undercover assignment with the Red Army.

Let’s not forget Obama. He released a Doctor’s note stating he is able to run for office. This after the Democrats demanded the release of McCains and then complained that his mental health records weren’t part of the release.
Mom was 18 yrs. old when she had Barry, and there seems to be a part of the natural citizen clause about the age of the mother and the number of yrs. All very confusing right now, but it seems very odd to not release a seemingly trivial thing like a birth certificate. Barry even says in his book that he has never seen the marriage certificate of his parents because he was afraid to look. Translation: there isn’t one and Barry is illegitimate. IMHO, of course.
There have been several posts that if the mother is under age 18, certain rules apply, it's not automatic.
World Net Daily just parrots the latest news from other sources.
But this is an IMPORTANT question.
Why does Obama refuse to release his birth records? Or a dozen other important records?
Was he really born in Hawaii on the date he claims? Was his mother’s marriage actually legal? Is he an American citizen at all? Or a naturalized citizen, which would not qualify him to run for the presidency?
It is incumbent upon Obama to make these facts public, since he MAY be constitutionally forbidden to run for the presidency. Has he even given this information to the proper election authorities?
What is he hiding? Maybe nothing, but there’s nothing paranoid about demanding that he should confirm the relevant facts from the public records, if he intends to run for the presidency.

how do We know that his alleged Mother is really his Mother?
He may have been born of the Kenyan Mother or one of his Father’s other wives and/or girlfriends? To find that there is NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE defies every law in Our books, but I am sure it is accordance with Shia Law!

Thats one of the problems, there has actually never been a court determination of a persons eligibility based on place of birth.
