If you are born overseas to a US citizen, you are yourself a natural born citizen. George Romney was born in Mexico to US citizens, and nobody questioned his qualifications when he ran for President in ‘68.

Some did question Romney's eligibility, but never coming close to having a shot at the nomination, much less becoming President, no offical challenge was ever mounted.

Thats one of the problems, there has actually never been a court determination of a persons eligibility based on place of birth.

The key factor is that BOTH your parents must be US citizens.

I think this is a false alarm with BO, as I don't think his 18 year old mother would have flown to Kenya in the early 1960s to give birth, away from her own family.

This is not true. I was born in Canada to an American-citizen mother. I had to go through the naturalization process. I was NOT considered American-born.
