Will keep this short.
Networks preparing for Hillary to (finally) quit in speech Tuesday night.
Will be from NY, Staffers being told to turn in expenses, resumes being FedExed to Obama and other state/local campaigns.
Staffers at one network recalled from lunches to prepare.
Campaign staffers being told to go home.
One network had long conference call among suits last night, followed by conference call between tech types to set up remotes, back-hauls, break-ins, etc.
Union technicians, cameramen, audio, video engineers, etc. told to expect overtime.

From Associated Press RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton will give her post-primary speech in New York Tuesday night, a rare departure from the campaign trail. Staffers who have worked for her on he ground in Puerto Rico, South Dakota and Montana have been invited to attend the event or go home for further instructions, campaign aides said. The New York senator had no other events Tuesday. She planned to address AIPAC Wednesday in Washington.
From "The Atlantic" Clinton Campaign staffers and former campaign staffers are being urged by the Clinton campaign's finance department to turn in their outstanding expense receipts by the end of the week. That's a sign, to them, that the campaign wants to get its affairs in order soon. If Clinton were staying in the race, there'd be no real reason to collect these receipts now; she'd still be raising and spending money from the same primary campaign account. The campaign is in arrears to the tune of about $11 million.
From one network:
"The former first lady's campaign announced that she would hold an election night "celebration" in her home state of New York, not in the final voting states of Montana or South Dakota."
The Politico website reported that far-flung members of Clinton's travelling staff had been summoned back to New York for Tuesday evening and told their roles on the campaign are ending.
Well your too be congratulated on your getting the drop on this news ! If ya have a ping list PUT ME ON IT !
Good on ya !.........Stay safe !
It's as good as any three-ring circus.

Newsflash to the AP: The nominee is not picked until August. Not even if Obama had 3,000 delegates. That’s what the convention is for. Even John McCain is only the presumptive nominee, and there’s no telling who delegates will vote for (especially with Ron Paul’s supporters showing up in various states attempting to get their delegates apportioned instead of McCains).
I’m surprised how many political reporters, who should know these details in order to perform their job, seem not to realize this. Well, of course they actually do realize this but are manipulating the news to say otherwise. There are many months yet for Hillary to come out of this as the nominee.
I have always believed Hillary would be the democrat nominee, and I have not yet changed my mind.
Her supporters are so riled that they could very well take up arms.
What Michelle Obama tape are you talking about?
The one that will supposedly air tomorrow in which Michelle Obama goes off on "whitey." Don't know if it actually exists or not, but I guess we'll know tomorrow.
Whatever the case may be, you rock, Mr. Dead. You are Da Man.
Afraid not. The DNC Convention in Denver will grip the nations attention for a week, at least. It will be seriously contested, although I doubt full-fledged riots will break out (unless CNN can generate some for the cameras).
Nothing related to this topic but I just heard Dick Morris on BOR say that McCain should pick Lieberman as his running mate!
I usually think Dick is a prescient guy but on this, he’s wrong. Conservatives will stay home in droves.
On another pressing issue, let us have no talk about “conservatives staying home.”
We have a God-given treasure in Obama. He is by far the easier Dem to beat.
This is simple binary choice between a candidate who would destroy America as we know it, and the other, who not perfect, is much more in line with our thinking.
A non-vote for McCain is a vote for Obama. Any conservative who is so stuck on themselves (I am certainly NOT accusing you) that they would abstain because McCain is “not conservative enough” is a self-agrandizing cry baby who thinks they are more important than the Republic.
They are no better than a deserter in wartime.
Nah, it will be a sleeper unless somehow Barack is dethroned.
*Applause*
Well done sir, well done!
