Today is Sunday, June 1st and the Puerto Rico primary voting takes place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. ET.
Welcome to the only forum on the web in the mainland United States (that I know of!) monitoring LIVE all the details, voting, exit polling and results for todays Puerto Rico Democratic primary! Many thanks to Jim Robinson and all of you at FreeRepublic.com for your support!
Will Hillarys popular vote tally move up substantially after todays primary? After all, there are over 2 million Puerto Ricans eligible to vote, and theres usually an 80-85% percent voting turnout on the island during different elections. Will this primary define whether she stays .. or whether she says Sayonara!? As Yogi Berra once said: Its not over until the fat lady sings, right?
Join us LIVE as we follow the islands news media and other outlets. Also, our deepest thanks to our main source in Puerto Rico, Freeper cll, for his input, analysis and important information throughout the past few weeks. We will be getting analysis and other tidbits of information straight from his mouth today, as well as from the mouths of other island residents who might join us later.
According to the Puerto Rican media, CNN will be the only network to have access to exit polling. The network decided to foot the entire bill, which will run in the neighborhood of $100,000, after its National Election Pool partners initially decided against splitting the costs.

... and losing whatever shred of dignity she had left (if any)...
And Freeper "cll", who is in San Juan. He'll join us later.
Top 'o the mornin' to ya, SCP!
quack quack
PARTY ON!
Obama is the democrat nominee and McCain is the next President of the United States.I think that about sums it up.
We have to work hard to elect as many conservatives to the house and senate as possible. It's our only chance of keeping McStupid from giving away the store to La Raza and the environmentalists.
PR doesn’t vote in the national election. How can Mrs. Clinton claim a win here will help in November?
She could say that Puerto Ricans are also U.S. citizens (since 1917) and that their voices must be heard in the primary process and not be disenfranchised. In fact, I'm banking on that she will stick with this fact in order to bolster her popular vote stance all the way to the Convention.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That fair skin and all those hours in the hot sun....
The results from this primary will be a stunning blow to the entire rat structure. They will have their noses rubbed in the truth that Hispanics will NOT vote for barack curious george mcgovern. They have worked way too hard to become the number one minority in America, They will NOT help a Black man become the president!
I’ve already been toasted in this forum for defending my vote for the McCainiac, and not to defend Obama, but let’s face it; nobody looked good in the seventies!
By the way, how’d Barry get my shirt?
Sure. But, how can she claim this helps her in November? PR doesn't vote in the general election.
Puerto Rico Ping! Please Freepmail me if you want on or off the list.
Hi Silvie:
Good morning. The question is: this is an open primary, the was no Rep primary so I didn’t vote there, should I go out and vote for Hillary?
Now to my Yaucono and my weekly commissary trip. I’ll be back soon.
That pic is a keeper....
Stalin...
Evita Peron....
Buenos Dias!
I thought that the P.R. Rep primary was in Feb.? If I was you, I’d get in my car right now and drive to the nearest polling place and vote for Hillary!
Let us know details of your experiences later!
I took a stroll through my neighborhood where there are two voting centers. Turn out so far seems pretty good.
